🚨🚨🚨#BREAKING and EXCLUSIVE: The Secret Service’s chief counsel Richard Giuditta, who also served as a senior adviser to Director Sean Curran, resigned abruptly late last week after @RCPolitics inquired about an alleged “road rage” incident he was involved in with a USSS-issued government vehicle in New Jersey in late July, according to multiple sources familiar with the incident and his departure.

Giuditta, who sources say had no formal training on the use of a government vehicle, inappropriately used lights and sirens on the vehicle, which are supposed to be reserved for law enforcement purposes, the sources allege. The incident involved the Essex County Sheriff’s office, and agents from the Newark Secret Service office were called in to respond, according to these sources. Another civilian driver who was reacting to the alleged "road rage" videotaped the incident, the sources added.

Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Giuditta left the Secret Service last week and referred all questions about the incident to local New Jersey law enforcement agencies.

“U.S. Secret Service Chief Counsel and Senior Advisor Richard Giuditta has made the decision to leave federal service and return to his law practice,” Guglielmi told @RCPolitics. “We thank Mr. Giuditta for his contributions to the Secret Service and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”

His resignation went into effect on Friday.

Giuditta arrived at the agency in January first as a Trump political appointee, possibly through the Department of Homeland Security, and is close to Director Sean Curran through New Jersey ties, according to sources familiar with the relationship.

After serving as a special adviser, Giuditta then switched to an official civil service role as chief counsel. The Secret Service is supposed to be a nonpartisan agency – the director is the only agency role that presidents appoint.

DEVELOPING...more details to come.

Most people seem to never grow up. It isn’t comforting to see this continuously.

In past decades, the SS seemed to be a pretty tight ship ... Now it’s kind of a mess.

My father was a rager. He’d scream red-faced while shooting a bird at old ladies, truck drivers, and Hells Angeles. It was a different and more calm time. Still, it amazed me that he never got hurt. He was a union guy and carried a piece of tapped-up cable under the seat that would have killed anyone he hit. But he would have most likely been the instigator. He was astonishingly lucky.

I learned to be respectful. I’ve made mistakes or not seen somebody, and they go full WWE WrestleMania verbal and hand signals on me. I made a mistake and likely anyone doing the same to me had also made a mistake. I carry and the last thing I want to do is use my weapon. But I will protect myself. I am the politest and most conciliatory driver you will ever meet. If someone wants to play bumper cars or idiot brake checking, I pull off or take the next right turn. Invariably, they speed on because they are focused on their imagined “win.”

My employee recently yelled a snarky comment at a shirtless, shoeless crazy screaming for someone to please shoot him. The man had a brick which he threw at the employee striking the car behind him causing damage. The car behind was driven by the employee’s wife. You just can’t win an engagement with crazy. The best thing is not to get involved.

Started with obammy. Remember the SS agents going wild down in CARTAGENA, Colombia in 2012?

And I Fourth that sentiment.

Looks like a real self-important arsehole.
Make ‘em Famous.
Look into that history.
Bet you’ll find countless “incidents”.

In this case, don't drive in New Jersey. They even import their crazies.
