President Obama wasn’t born in Connecticut. He did not attend school or build his political career here. But this small state has played an outsize role in his political narrative. He visited more than a half dozen times during his presidency; sometimes quickly swooping in to raise money at closed-door events on the Gold Coast, other times stumping for candidates or pushing policy initiatives in auditoriums filled with cheering fans.

I would say, we need to pick our battles, and this one is log pass its time. There are many more important issues to be addressed right now. Even if Obama was born in Kenya or anywhere else in the world, he was a son of US mother, so he was eligible for presidency. And even if he were not eligible, what else could be done? I don’t ever want to hear a Democrat say, “No one is above the law.” The new phrase should be, “No one is above the law except Obama. He can do whatever the hell he wants.”

I also don’t want to ever hear a Republican say, “We are a nation of laws.” The phrase should be, “We are kind of a nation of laws, sort of, so long as enforcing them seems to be convenient at the time.”

We all knew that the document was a forgery, an investigation could have been done at any time, but those in charge were afraid of being called names.

If you or I had committed forgery, like with a check, or had committed identity theft, we’d be in prison. Clearly, some are above the law.

Wrong! Being born to a foreign father who was not even an immigrant to the USA, and a U.S. Citizen mother would get at best basic Citizenship for Obama, aka Barry Soetoro. A “natural born Citizen” is a person born in the USA to a U.S. Citizen father and U.S. Citizen mother. A person born with “sole allegiance” to the USA. Obama was born with allegiance to the King of England via his Kenyan father. With a foreign national father who was never a U.S. Citizen, nor even an immigrant to the USA, it does not matter where Obama was born — he is not and never can be a “natural born Citizen” of the United States.
