Some NFL fans are not happy that there will be male cheerleaders on the field during the 2025 season.
The Minnesota Vikings will have a pair of male cheerleaders on the field during the 2025 season. The Vikings, who are expected to contend at the top of the NFC in 2025, made the announcement on social media. Unsurprisingly, it has been going viral.
"The Minnesota #Vikings Cheerleaders have two male cheerleaders for the 2025 season," ML Football shared on X.
"The team announced Blaize Shiek and Louie Conn have joined their dancing squad for the season.
While many are praising the Minnesota Vikings for being inclusive - they are hardly the first NFL franchise to have male cheerleaders (the Rams had some in the Super Bowl - the announcement is sparking a lot of reaction.
Some fans have announced that they would cancel their season tickets or boycott the team in response.
"The Minnesota Vikings has a man as their new lead cheerleader. As if you needed another reason to avoid the NFL and Minnesota," one fan wrote.
"This might be the dumbest move in NFL history. First male captains of a cheer squad… and talk of an all-male cheerleading division? Yeah, something smells off here," one fan added.
"I'm done with this team," one fan added.

Men in the cheer squad would be acceptable but these two twinkie gay blades are a real affront to traditional Minnesota football fans. What a stupid move just to thrust the organization’s wokeness into the faces of their fanbase.

I went to an all boys high school. Of necessity, our cheerleaders were boys.
I’ve seen the photos on Truth social. The name fits. They’re both as girly and ridiculous as they could ever find.

Just a lot of faux outrage. After all the nonsense and outrage over the anthem kneeling, you’d think the fan base would learn that the NFL is all about money and not America or the fans.
No they’re not! Not even a quarter of them are approving of this. Most people just want to watch a football game. Hardly anyone wants to see grown men twirking like little faggots.
It is time to place a vegas bet that the MN Vikings will win the super bowl. They have never won it, and I think that this woke stunt was the Viking’s “nod” at finally winning the BIG ONE.

But John Waters and Glenn knew their customers. They didn’t make those movies for average people.
Average people may be ok with male cheerleaders like this…
….but the Viking guys will NOT work with your average (inebriated) Vikings fan.
They care more about their losing their sportsball identity than they do about regaining themselves.

Okay, so what do you make of the announced fan base boycott then? I think this might be a tipping point for a lot of fans that were on the edge anyway, and this just might be the last straw. At least for many Vikings fans.
