Also, never click “Unsubscribe” buttons or links. Doing so also tells the spammers that they’ve found a live number/email address, and your spam will quadruple (at least) overnight. Just block the senders.
Neither do I.
I got that one too. These e-crooks should be flogged.
Attorney Generals No-call division: (robot) “The following are all the reasons there’s not a damned thing we can do, but draw paychecks”
Ok—that is pretty cool. I particularly like the fake phone call with the annoying telemarker.
I have been all over their site and cannot find a pricing schedule. How much do you pay per month/year?
Thanks
I get them address to “Mary.” I am not Mary. I am not the same gender as Mary (and I will never consider transitioning to that gender.)
I tried to get them to stop and I was still getting them. Last time I got one I replied that Mary had passed away from complications from the COVID injection.
I haven’t gotten anything since.
Just block the phone numbers as they come. Eventually they stop.
I finally have an opportunity to say something Good that I can remember from from the George W Bush Administration.
During the Bush years the Do Not Call List was started I was in the Cell phone business owning multiple stores. As put of the sales process we would ask people if they would like to be on the Do Not Call List and add them if they said yes.
Under Bush the program worked and spam calls and messages nearly stopped. As soon as Barack Hussein Obama took office and put Jeh Johnson in charge of it the Do Not Call List went to crap Millions of scam calls, text, fishing messages, and scam call attempts started happening. There are millions of dollars being stolen by these scammers and I can’t believe that Obama and his people were not involved !
Another phone industry disaster happened on Obamas watch and of course that was the Obama phone program which our tax dollars are still paying for. The program was supposedly for poor Americans to get phone service so they could communicate, get jobs, and let themselves out of poverty.
In truth it was a scam with Obama awarding the contract to supply the phones and service to Carlos Slim, at the time one of the world’s richest men. He owned Mexico’s largest cell phone provider. That contract should have gone to a US provider. You can’t make me believe that payoffs weren’t included in that deal !
Do you live in Florida? I recently got one of those from Florida Highway safety with the same message. I looked up the website and in flashing mode at the top of the page as an alert for this scam. It says to ignore and advises you to make a report to the FTC-—which I did.
My scam texts are behind the times, I guess. I got one on Friday saying that my drivers license would be revoked and my car would be impounded if I did not pay my toll charge within three days.
As far as I know, the State of Oregon has no toll roads or bridges.
I would begin to contribute to the GOP again if I could stop their incessant text messages and junk mail.
I don't think the Do not call list ever worked - and it was before texting went from 0 to 100.
I hate WinRed with a passion.
Donated to Trump a few times and that’s it. I am done. If there’s a standout candidate I will donate directly if that’s possible. Never through WinRed.
I believe I am paying $7/month.
It was originally $4.99, but the merged with something or other a year or 2 ago, so there was a price bump.
I’m In the Easter most CCP/Pelosy MAFIA Prefecture

😆
Amatures.
They need a DNC grifters remedial class.
This past July, I started to only use Free Republic for my so called links for incoming news and messages.
It is amazing how much time is being saved.
Also, if any so called Freepers use hidden/undisclosed links, to any so called info links, their links are trashed and deleted.
No more robo calls?
Sigh. ;-)
My brother married a German and became liberal.
Somehow he must have put in my phone number on a list and now I get all sorts of junk texts from Democrats.
