Yes, it was truly a magical place. Sintra. Our next stop after Lisbon. Just seeing the photos or videos of Sintra doesn't do it justice. One must visit Sintra to feel its magical effects on the spirit. No wonder the royal family of Portugal chose to stay in the magic mountains of Sintra at the Palacio de Pena during the summers.
PING!
GREAT - can you manage to get me a puzzle of that? Would make an amazing puzzle as would most villages there and elsewhere in Europe.
Jigsaw puzzle? I have a pretty good sense of direction but since mountain roads keep winding in all directions I pretty much lost my sense of direction in Sintra.
I was joking but it would make a fantastic puzzle. Glad I’m not planning a trip as I don’t like twisty or mountainous roads..
Yes we took a trip there. Unfortunately it was raining at the time so it made a challenging effort to reach the castle. Our guide was hoping that it would clear weather ,but is was not meant to be. However to see your pictures with the clear sky lets me see how beautiful and lush it is.
You can have pictures made into puzzles. I know there are sites for that.
The whole time we were in Portugal, not a drop of rain. Clear skies every day. Also, in late May, pleasantly warm. Even at night I only needed to wear a jacket a couple of times.
It’s absolutely gorgeous and the colors must be so vibrant and stunning in real person.
Wow! Nice!
Wait until you see my videos and pics of the Algarve in Lagos (Portugal, NOT Nigeria). Stunning sandstone cliffs that divide the coast into separate beach areas. That combined with the azure waters made for incredible sights. Also I discovered something while at Lagos that I am debating whether to reveal because of all the flaming I got when merely referring to it when I discussed something that happened to me at Fatima. However, when recently going over my videos of Lagos, I did mention at the time something incredible that had happened to me.
