The ICC prosecutor has decided to seek arrest warrants related to potential Israeli war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare. Over 60,000 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 145,000 injured in the conflict since October 7, 2023, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
Numerous reports of civilians being killed while attempting to access aid have emerged. The healthcare system is near collapse due to widespread destruction of medical facilities and severe shortages of medical supplies. Nearly half of Gaza’s hospitals are only partially functional and are overwhelmed with patients. The Gaza Health Ministry has reported thousands of deaths due to lack of access to care for chronic illnesses.
