What about that spout? Not long enough? Too twisty? What?
Great, now I don’t have to stop on the side of the road to pick up old discaded gas cans in order to steal the spouts.
portable gas containers and stick lighters, were “Clintonized”, making them both all most impossible to use and LESS safe, particularly gas containers, whose “safety” spouts were guaranteed to spill gasoline everywhere no matter what ... fortunately, a whole industry sprang up to offer replacement spouts based on the old design ... in the mean time, everyone like myself treated their old gas containers like they were made of gold, and snapped up used ones every time one went on sale somewhere ...
Years ago, I bought a batch of the goosenecks, tore them apart, cleaned off the epoxy, and brazed them back onto the bungs.
Hardcore old school here. Currently rebuilding a '68 Power Wagon with a flatbed dump.
I bought adapter kits for mine. The cost less than $10 per can. You replace the spout and drill a small hole near the top of the can and insert a plug that you remove when you are pouring gas so it flows better. I bought mine on Amazon but they also sell them in some hardware stores.
Amnesty for big booty latinas illegally in the country?
YES!!!!!
This whole debate has passed me by since I haven’t bought a gas can for several decades. Mine are just straight and flexible with no fancy valves or shut off devices.
I don’t like that inverse spout thing inside the can. The gas pump keeps clicking off.
I like using the 2 gallon cans, easier to lug around.
Oh now, we like having gasoline run up our sleeves and all over our hands while trying to pour out of those gd things!
Hooray. A great start.
Now give us back toilets that actually flush. And washing machines that use enough water to clean the clothes.
And, as a bonus, how about non-explosive refrigerant.
These work with most cans, avoid crappy spouts and siphon quickly.

Why does he need an approval rating?
excellent, the micromanaging is ridiculous
Trying to use a new gas can a few years ago and all I could get through the spout was a trickle. I had tp use bpth hands somehw holding to manipulate the spout. I took the spout off and got my funnel. Other folks I know have done the same. Just what was it the trick spouts were supposed to accomplish?
how is more spillage good for anyone?
I bought all my recent gas cans in Canada.
Work great.
bought a Tesla, problem solved.
