That is correct. Of course the presumption of guilt has to be higher in some cases.. If you or I gets arrested and the case doesn’t hold up in court, we are simply acquitted with no fanfare. If a prosecutor loses a high profile case like this, there is usually a lot of political backlash, and civil action.
