Former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle responded to the GAO report on the Butler assassination attempt released by Senator Grassley.
On Saturday, just one day shy of the one-year anniversary of the assassination attempt against President Trump, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) released a report highlighting some of the Secret Service failures.
As TGP reported earlier, a new Government Accountability Office (GAO) report revealed that the Secret Service during Biden’s presidency did not alert the team responsible for securing Trump’s July 13, 2024, rally.
The report revealed the Secret Service, under then-Director Kimberly Cheatle’s leadership, knew of a threat against President Trump’s life 10 days before the attempted assassination at the Butler rally; however, they did not relay the information to the USSS team on the ground in Pennsylvania.

She may not have been directly involved in the decisions made that day, but she was responsible for creating an atmosphere where incompetence and dereliction were accepted.
The leftie attacks on Trump made attempts on Trump’s life pretty predictable.
Are you conflating Lizard with Dr. Jill? I can find that Cheatle was on Dick Cheney’s SS detail, but no reference to a relationship with Liz.

let me guess what she said without bothering to read her actual response: “I did not know because no one told me.” ...
So they had credible info there was a threat, but they sent a scaled down team, made up of inexperienced service, took no additional action to secure the area, and left key areas of the venue unchecked/unmonitored.
Either it was systemic failure on the part of the SS or shear incompetence And either way she was responsible.
The thing about incompetent DEI hires? Quite often they don’t even know that they are incompetent. They buy the hype that because they bring “diversity”, the team is automatically better for their presence.
Like all DEI theory, it is a bald-faced lie.
Or...it was intentional.
