The best time for a university to perform a civil-rights audit was two full years ago, right after the Supreme Court announced its decisions in the Students for Fair Admissions cases. The next best time is now.
In short, the Supreme Court wrote in 2023, “Eliminating racial discrimination means eliminating all of it.” That means ending discrimination not only in admissions but across the entire university. Furthermore, Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act has long been interpreted to ban racial discrimination across all of a university’s programs and activities. Even the Biden administration’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) in the U.S. Department of Education regularly found, for example, that so much as alerting students to an external discriminatory scholarship was a Title VI violation.
About equally ominous for colleges that ignore this legal obligation is the prospect that the Internal Revenue Service will fully and vigorously enforce its rule that “a school that does not have a racially nondiscriminatory policy as to students does not qualify as an organization exempt from Federal income tax.” A school, including an institution of higher education, must not merely have such a policy but also “must show affirmatively … that since the adoption of that policy it has operated in a bona fide manner in accordance therewith.”

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Nothing, absolutely nothing, will change (much less improve) until someone has a big enough pair to go after the individuals defying SCOTUS rulings.
Institutions do not misbehave. It is the people IN those institutions who misbehave and are possibly criminals. Just roll up and arrest anyone who signed off on any procedure/policy/guide/whatever that allows discrimination to persist. No bail. Keep them in jail until trial.
Time to repeal the patently unconstitutional 1964 Civil Rights Act and Office for Civil Rights (OCR).
“Special” treatment is NOT equal treatment. Just sayin’.....
That's right. We'll NEVER end discrimination by discriminating.
Great blog post.
Freepers should actually read it.
Imagine if FJB had another term.
White? Forget college.
