Orange County, CA – A heroic pup named Rambo finds himself in need of a new home after he was brutally stabbed while defending his family from a violent intruder. The 11-month-old shepherd/husky mix sustained wounds to his chest, neck, shoulders, and a paw while protecting his family from the criminal.

Sadly, Rambo was rushed to a veterinarian for emergency care, but his family opted to NOT take him back home after he was treated, even though staff at Nuevo Road Animal Hospital offered to do his surgery free of charge.

Today, the courageous pup is healing from his wounds and waiting for someone to see his worth and offer him a new home. Rambo is in the care of the German Shepherd of Orange County and in boarding until a family can be found.

Poor dog. I can’t adopt him, but I will pay the “intruder” to come back for a few more whacks on the humans. jk

Human trash rejected the dog’s homecoming. The dog will be much better off somewhere else.

What an inhumane excuse for a family. How could anyone heartlessly abandon that brave and loyal puppy?

If I lived in that area, I would adopt that precious puppy today.

My daughter’s family own German shepard/husky mix. He is one of the kindest dogs I have ever known. This mix is known for their intelligence. They take him to outdoor festivals and the kids just love to pet him.

I adore Shepards. I have raised Boxers, though... and they are smart, good with kids and excellent guard dogs.

Homeless puppies.

Have we no decency? Abort a human and put this pup in the murderous couples arms, by law if necessary!
