Neocons Dragging Trump into WWIII – Martin Armstrong
USA Watchdog ^ | 18 June 25 | Greg Hunter

Posted on 06/19/2025 7:34:52 AM PDT by delta7

Two weeks ago, legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong was signaling a big turn toward war. We all know Ukraine is out of control with no peace deal in sight, and now the Middle East is blowing up too. Armstrong says, “I think Trump has been kind of snookered into this . . . Netanyahu knew he could not get the nuclear. Now, he says we are losing because they have not been able to achieve that. So, Netanyahu says President Trump, please go in and attack Iran and eliminate that, which is World War III. . .. Iran is not by itself. We have to consider what is going to take place here. . .. I am concerned this drags in Russia and also China. . .. You have Zelensky over there conspiring with Britain to use an old Soviet torpedo to sink an American ship so they can blame that on Russia. You have the same nonsense in the Middle East so they can create a false flag there to say Iran attacked American forces. They are trying to drag Trump into World War III. These neocons are horrible people. They have no humanity, and they do not care about how many people die.”

For anyone hoping this would blow over or not be too severe, forget that. Socrates, Armstrong’s computer program that is extremely accurate, says this is going to be a long and very bad dream. Armstrong says, “Socrates is not showing this is going to be over swiftly and ending. It is warning that this is going to be more protracted. On top of that, Iran has supersonic missiles. They had them before we did. They claim they domestically developed them, but it’s widely believed Russia helped them. In addition to that, about 80% of the oil from Iran goes to China. This, to me, is a classic neocon blunder.”

Things are going to be bad in the US but much worse in Europe. Armstrong says, “If they turn this into a Jihad or holy war, it will go absolutely crazy. You are going to be looking at civil war in virtually every city. This is not good. If you are looking at war that is a dispute over a border or economics, you can come to some sort of negotiation. You cannot do that when you are talking about a religious war. . .. If you take out the Supreme Leader, you are going to turn this into a religious war. You are looking at Muslims reacting in Europe and even the United States. This is s different type of war, and we better damn well respect that.”

Armstrong thinks gold will hit some resistance at around $4,000 per ounce and then go up to $5,000 per ounce. When that happens, Armstrong says silver will easily hit $50 per ounce and beyond. Armstrong says oil could hit $115 a barrel sometime in July, and it could go higher from there.

In closing, I asked Armstrong what he would tell President Trump right now. Armstrong says, “We are in a war cycle, and it is a contagion. . .. Get the hell out of Ukraine, and get the hell out of the Middle East.”….

There is much more in the 63-minute interview.

“Unless regime change comes from the Iranian people themselves”. That is a very tricky situation. The regime is probably close to collapse thanks to the Israeli onslaught aided by the United States. However if new leaders take over, they will always have the stigma that they are replacing “Islamic martyrs” and owe their power and position to Israel and America. Americans would like to think that what happened politically and culturally in Germany and Japan after their defeat in WW II will be replicated in Iran. Not sure that will happen.

“I don’t hear anyone coming to Iran’s defense. Putin made a half-hearted plea to serve as a mediator but I think he was just poking Trump in the eye.”

And Trump promptly _____ slapped him.

I’m disappointed a military mind like yours would post this without comments. Do you believe it? Do you have doubts?

What do say?

Neoconservative is a term used by Socialist Michael Harrington, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Harrington, a founding member of the Democratic Socialists of America.

It’s Leftist projection

Delta7 loves the legendary VLAD. Take his comments in that light.

I don’t hear anyone coming to Iran’s defense.
———-
The first thing I learned in my travels all over the ME, Sunni and Shia have been massacring each other for centuries. Iran is Shia, Hezzbollah Shia….the minority in Islam, and the most radical.

All the Sunni governments are rejoicing at the Shia defeat….thus the silence from every one of them. Do remember, the Iraqi Iranian war in the late 80’s- each side LOST over 2 million plus! A bloodbath. It was Sunni versus Shia, without that understanding, you will never understand what is happening.

Jeremiah 49. ( Elam) It is to early to tell, next step is to watch who fills Persia’s “ void”. We can safely assume Shia are out, Sunni in? OR, the Shah’s son is brought in? Or some other group friendly to Israel and the West.

That said, I am old enough to remember when Iran fell, I was working next door. Iran was before the Islamic take over much like Beirut, the “ Pearl” of the ME.

Isfahan was a vacation destination for us ex-pats.

No, but he is the best we have. That said, still no audit of our Gold reserves, the Ukie war was not ended “ in a week”, USD falling, Bond market crisis, etc….he has a lot on his plate.

He is only as good as his advisors, and the left is cock blocking everything he is doing. Let’s Pray he is wise enough to stay out of our 20 year wars.

From what I read, the people of Iran are fed up with the mullahs and want them gone.
—————-
Correct, and many reports out of Iran show a huge rise in Christianity. All my Iranian buddies ( and Lebanese friends) are Christians…..that said, my Iranian friend who owns a car dealership gave me a screaming deal when we discussed Christians trapped in Iran.

May God Bless them, they have been through a lot.

I think a big part of MAGA, understandably, holds the issue of no more wars at or near the top of the most important reasons for MAGA and for President Trump. I don’t blame them one bit for voicing strident opposition to potential involvement in Iran. At the same time, I think there are many of us, without being evil “neocons”, who see a once in a lifetime shot at ending Iran’s nuclear threat, possibly forever, but at least for a long time and think that, in addition to helping our ally, is an extremely high priority for US national interests.

For that reason, I think there is gelling a moderate position that trusts President Trump to do what needs to be done with careful consideration of limiting the engagement, minimizing casualties to Iranian civilians and, of course, most importantly, to minimize risk to our personnel and assets.

The phrase “regime change” IMHO, is getting quite warn out in the heat of the argument used as a “straw man” argument that no one is actually making. I think most people don’t have that as a primary objective at all. It might be a good thing, but if it is the inevitable result of destroying their nuclear program, then it is well worth it. And no. NO ONE IN MAGA IS SAYING THEY WANT AMERICAN BOOTS ANYWHERE NEAR IRAN OR OCCUPYING THE COUNTRY. NO ONE. If I’m wrong, please send me a link to such an opinion.

Okay. What do you think about Armstrong’s claim?

Are you saying it’s too early to tell if he’s right or wrong?

I can tell you this, on the day our Embassy was violated and American hostages taken, I was stationed at Cape Cod Air Force Station and at my girlfriend’s house watching the New England Patriots play when they interrupted the game to make the announcement. I immediately made ready to leave and told them we are now at war. I got to the guard post, and nobody there even knew about it. It was Sunday afternoon in November and very little was going on.

So much for war! If there ever was a justification for it, that would have been it, but Jimmy Carter, now the second worst president in American history (Binde #1) didn’t know what to do.

We will not go to war with Iran. A strike or two, like always but no full scaled war. I suspect anyone who says so without overwhelming facts to back them up. Not feelings or ancient predictions but facts.

Depends upon what the majority of the population want, and the size of that majority percentage wise is.

“There is nothing legendary about Martin Armstrong except possibly his ego.”

Losing over $700,000,000 of clients’ funds sort of makes him a legend!
