I drive a very nice, well equipped diesel sedan. It's comfortable beyond words at 65mph on the Interstate. On a tank of fuel I've traveled 810 miles (at 65mph).

It has a six cylinder engine which generates 457 ft pounds of torque. When you push it it's really quick.

However,I simply can't imagine wanting a car like this 'Vette.

But if I was worth a billion I *would* want a Porsche Panamera V8.

The problem with having a car that can go from 0 to 60 in 2 seconds is it is liable to go from 60 to 0 in 1 second.

That is unreal. One should wear a neck collar when driving this ‘Vette.

I don’t know what it is, but it’s not a Corvette. They managed to make it into another Euro looking car. You can’t tell if it’s a Lamborghini, a Ferrari, a McLaren, a Bugatti, or whatever.

The mid-engine people finally ruined it. It’s just another nothing car now.

Got the oil in my truck changed today at the Chevy dealership..

Told a sales lady I was going to get “liquored up”, then come back to test drive their new ‘vette.
(she knew I was joking)

I’ve never driven a fast car like that but how would you even control a vehicle at that acceleration?

Very useful car. Most streets are so full of potholes thanks to Government mismanagement that you’ll wreck your alignment in weeks. and, with interstates at 55-65mph in most places, you don’t exactly need a production racecar to travel.

It’s more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is projected to run the quarter-mile in 9.6 seconds at 150 mph. This is based on claims from Chevrolet, with the car achieving a 0-60 mph time of 2.3 seconds. Car and Driver confirms that this is the quickest rear-wheel-drive car they’ve ever tested.

No to shabby it can give super comp class cars a run for the money.

My Porsche Turbo S is actually way more power than I would ever need.
A fair amount of these ZR1’s are going to be crashed unless drivers are VERY careful.
Paul Walker and his Porsche GT are gone because he wasn’t careful.

It can go from a stoplight into a bridge abutment in 3.76 seconds.
