Tina Louise was spotted on a different island.
The Gilligan’s Island alum, 91, made a rare public appearance June 4 in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, marking her first sighting since she attended the New York Film Festival in 2022.
For the outing, Louise—who portrayed the aptly named Ginger Grant on the CBS sitcom from 1964 to 1967—donned a black leather jacket and blue jeans. She complemented the look by sporting her signature red hair, black sneakers and carrying a navy blue umbrella and two black bags.
Since appearing on Gilligan’s Island, Louise—who is the last living cast member, surviving fellow stars Bob Denver (Gilligan), Alan Hale Jr. (The Skipper) and Dawn Wells (Mary Ann Summers)—has made a pointed attempt at extending her legacy beyond the ‘60s sitcom.

She looks darn good for 91.
She does, at that!
A friend of mine lived in the apartment beneath her for several years. He said he knew she wore heels even when she was at home alone because he could hear them clacking all the time when she walked.
(I hear June Lockhart hits 100 on June 25th)
Wasn’t she the mom on “Lost in Space” 🚀
Other than hair color, she has strong resemblance to my sister in law.
Just passed away in her mid 80’s. Would also probably still be going strong if not for a bad fall on some stairs.
She was also a sharp, fashionable dresser until the end.
They left out Jim Backus (1913-1989).
So sorry for your loss.
I met a lady, yesterday, who is 92 and still sharp as a tack. And, looks as great as Ginger does! Well, minus the RED hair!
This lady was dressed impeccably, had nice and simple jewelry on...and, had her nails salon perfect.
I like Ginger’s use of that pretty umbrella ... as a cane! Ha!
I’m happy she finally got off that island.
She was the mom on Lassie. (What’s wrong Lassie - did Timmy fall in the well?)
Daughter of movie star Gene Lockhart.
She looks great!
Yes, June Lockhart was Will, Penny and Judy’s mom in Lost in Space. She played the mom on Lassie too as I recall. She LOVES rock and roll, was a bit on the wild side and was a huge Bowie fan. Who knew?
Never understood what the big rush was to get off the island.
Mrs. Howell was loaded though...since her rich husband decided to take a 3 hour tour by some cheap outfit with a captain who didn't check on the weather, not to mention an idiotic first mate...her chances for making out like a bandit in a divorce settlement were very good. Marry into that kind of money you could get all the Gingers you want...not to mention hiring a dozen Mary Ann housemaids.

Julie Newmar (Catwoman) is also 91 and still looks good for her age.
Whoa, why no mention of Russel Johnson (The Professor) in the opening paragraphs?
I always wanted them both.
Probably because the writer only listened to the first year’s opening theme song to find out the list of characters.
And the rest.
Maybe I always misunderstood the “Ginger or Mary Ann” question, but I never thought it was about activities like horse riding or dinner with the boss.
