Trump took aim at Leo and the Federalist Society, which is a bit different from “his” legal advisors, but trust the press to mislead on that point. The Federalist Society is now about as popular around here as Cornyn and Graham.

If it’s Timothy Reif, from NYC, Trump would have known the guy was a Dem when he made the pick in 2019. Almost all of his “advisors” during his first term are saboteurs but Trump should have known better with this one to bash him now.

Trump was a bit naive during his first term. He actually thought he could work with the left. Also, he had bad advisors and as you say saboteurs.

He is not so naive and has better advisors now.

The real takeaway is, “The White House filed a motion to stay the ruling, and the tariffs were reinstated Thursday afternoon.”
