President Donald Trump is reportedly set to receive a lavish Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from Qatar’s royal family.
The nearly brand-new aircraft, originally commissioned by Qatari royals, will be temporarily used as Air Force One during Trump’s second term and then donated to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation upon the conclusion of his presidency, according to sources familiar with the arrangement who spoke to ABC News.
The aircraft, which has flown only a handful of times, is estimated to be worth upwards of $400 million and features gold-plated fixtures, private suites, and luxury lounges fit for royalty.
President Trump reportedly toured the jet in February at Palm Beach International Airport and expressed keen interest in its potential as a presidential aircraft.
This unprecedented arrangement — believed to be the most valuable foreign gift ever extended to the United States — has already triggered a meltdown on the Left.
Rasking wrote, “Trump must seek Congress’ consent to take this $300 million gift from Qatar. The Constitution is perfectly clear: no present “of any kind whatever” from a foreign state without Congressional permission. A gift you use for four years and then deposit in your library is still a gift (and a grift).”
Of course, Raskin conveniently ignores key facts and legal precedent.
According to ABC, Trump’s legal team — including White House Counsel David Warrington and Attorney General Pam Bondi — proactively sought clearance from the Department of Defense and the DOJ to ensure the arrangement was above board. Sources familiar with their findings say both departments concluded the plan is “legally permissible.”

It’ll be interesting to see the new paint job that President Trump puts on it.
This is a “too good to check” story for the media so they didn’t bother to check the back ground. It is not a “gift” to Trump. It is being retrofitted by a company because Boeing can’t produce the airplane. So a vendor is getting it to retrofit it in to the new AF1. The current AF1 is reaching its end of passenger service lifespan.
“I would not trust a used 747 from a foreign country to haul our President.”
I would not trust a NEW 747 direct from Boeing to haul our President.
Boeing would love to see the contract canceled. Trump negotiated a fixed cost contract. All overruns fall on Boeing, and it is costing them a fortune.
The fuselage will be stuffed with Trojans.
“Qatar is not our ally.”
Maybe not ours, but they are a Trump family ally. They have a deal with Qatar for a luxury golf resort.
Come on democrats. They would have transferred it to Biden. But they couldn’t. It is loaded with beautiful golden features through out. Right up Trump’s alley and they knew he would appreciate it.
They couldn’t let Biden have it because Hunter would have stripped all that golden stuff and made pimp teeth out of it.
I know a story with a Trojan Rabbit.
The plane is being given to the United States Air Force. It’s NOT a gift to Trump.
It’s NOT diamonds and cash give to Hunter and the Big Guy.
How much money did WE give Ukraine last year? Twenty billion? Or was that a drop in the bucket.
