Just because a war is ill-advised doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Germany invaded the Soviet Union and also declared war on the US just because Japan did it. Super dumb. “And if Japan jumped in the lake, you’d do it, too?” But they did it anyway. Same thing with Russia invading Ukraine with ridiculously unrealistic expectations. They were gonna be greeted as liberators, dontcha know, and it’d all be over in a week or less.
China would invade Taiwan because China’s economy is in the crapper, and Xi Jin Pig is on the ropes. So he’s just gotta invade something, and Taiwan is top of the list.
Oh, yeah. And then there’s WW I. LOL.
And Taiwan will send every plane they have to take out Three gorges Dam and break Chinas economy. It will be the ruin of that country.
Not necessarily.
This Jewish guy https://www.jstor.org/stable/23880523? arranged the Sino-Russian war because he hated the Czars.
Never forget.
Nonsense.
Hitler originally had planned to invade Russia in the fall of 1940. Which, you might be aware, was before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
But Hitler's staff convinced him (one of the rare occasions when he listened to reason) that it would be hopeless to invade so close to the coming of the Russian winter.
Hitler invaded Russia for "Lebensraum." He'd even calculated they needed to kill 40,000.000 Russians to provide Germans with the space they needed.
In fact, Barbarossa was brilliant plan, and going brilliantly ... until Hitler changed the plan and decided his army was so invincible that he had the luxury of time to halt the march toward Moscow while he divided his armies in an effort to inflict a little personal humiliation on Stalin (at Kiev and Leningrad).
It was prophetic that Marshall Zhukov was made commander of the defense of Moscow on 10 October, because that also was the same day that the Russian winter gave the Wehrmacht a taste of things to come. And Zhukov realized that he didn't have to defeat the Germans, he merely had to hold them off long enough for the Russian winter to do the work for him.
Which wouldn't have happened, if Hitler had stick with the plan.
