And fire any judges that don’t use pre approved guidelines.

It's better to just suspend habeas corpus and deport them quickly. One of the problem Tom Holman has noted is that the Bidet Regime released people into the U.S. without even scheduling a hearing. So, now they need to be tracked down and given a hearing on their asylum claims. One solution is to require them to register, schedule the hearing and then schedule them for deportation for missing their hearing date. Hopefully, Blondi is working on that.

I’d be willing to come out of retirement for a year or so to serve as a temporary immigration judge. I know of many other retired and semi-retired attorneys who would be happy to do the same.

what does a habeas corpus hearing look like?

there is only one question

do you have evidence of US citizenry or other legal status?

no, AMF!

line them up in detention and have the judge walk the line

nope, deport
nope, deport
nope, deport

How about no new funding? Find a way to take care of it without a net increase in bureaucrats and judges. First of all make it harder for them to get in.

We have zero immigration judges. Contrary to what they want to think, or want us to think, they aren’t judges. They are special hearing officers of the Executive branch. But they think their black robes makes them judges.

Nope. Just deport them. Ignore the judges.

Offer judge positions to all of the Jan 6th former political prisoners.

There is no requirement to have a law degree to be a Federal judge.

It would go a ways to helping do right by those whose lives were upended unjustly. And they have a good deal of familiarity with the federal criminal legal system.

Why not provide billions more in funding, hire 5,000 new “immigration judges” on a temporary basis, and have them clear out 15+ million illegal aliens with due process by 2028?

You don't need to hire any new employees. There is no requirement that an immigration judge even have a law degree or be an attorney. They are administrative judges not criminal. They don't have to be a member of the bar and are not considered officers of the "court". Any currently serving civil service employee can be appointed to the position.

We did not need billions of dollars and "comprehensive immigration reform" to secure the border. All it took was the will to apply existing law.

There are tens of thousands of current federal employees with extensive knowledge of immigration laws and regulations because they are in the field applying those laws daily.

The only thing an immigration judge does is ensure the process is followed and apply the law as written. It's not that hard.
