In a stunning new development, President Trump has signed a sweeping executive order defunding National Public Radio (NPR) and Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), the Democrats’ taxpayer-funded leftist propaganda machines.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the president previously called on Congress to defund the absurdly dishonest “news” organizations following a House Oversight DOGE subcommittee hearing, which exposed the stations’ already well-known bias and radical content. This includes documentaries about transvestites and transitioning, a documentary about “Racist Trees,” and so-called educational programming for young children, including toddlers, that featured a cross-dressing freak.
They have continued pushing false narratives, especially about the Trump Administration. Just this week, NPR, citing two anonymous sources, reported that two DOGE workers gained accounts on classified networks, used by the National Security Administration and the Department of Energy, and accessed nuclear secrets.
“This reporting is false. No DOGE personnel have accessed these NNSA systems. The two DOGE individuals in question worked within the agency for several days and departed DOE in February,” a Department of Energy spokesperson told NPR.

YES! I saw it too 😮
They’ll have to quadruple up on those fundraisers.
I remember back in the 70s the only channel to catch Monty Python on late at night was PBS. That’s it!
I remember back in the 70s the TV dial only went up to 13, and the 1 was missing. And occasionally I would see bullfighting on UHF.

I think only a small percentage of their funding is from the government, so they won’t be going away. Great that whatever they do get from the taxpayers is being ended anyway.
Judge beryl howel- hates Trump - her husband big time connection
to pbs and npr.
watch for her to rule against this.
PBS has several revenue streams already set up as streaming services so it had planned ahead. as for NPR not sure how their finances will fare. if the lefties support it with subscriptions it will survive. it’s survival of the fittest. PBS has brought some great programming, a lot of it from England like recent excellent “Wolf Hall.”
BUT it needs to become law!
These cuck Republicans need to make these EO’s law!
We cannot have the next woketard simply overturn all this stuff with their own EO!!!
Get to f’n work republiTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OUT-FREAKING-STANDING!
This was in the Republican Party platform going back to 1980.
Detroit’s NPR, WDET 101.9 FM, has been a favorite of mine since the early-to-mid 80’s. Compared to just about all of the ordinary FM rock and roll stations we have around here nowadays, WDET has been a kind of musical sanctuary for listeners to fall back on and perhaps (re)discover some great material we either forgot about or stuff we never even knew existed. For that alone, if it went off the air tomorrow I’d really miss it...And whatever happened to “Dr. Science”? He was always good for a laugh.
Finally! Of course, a commie judge will make sure the commie stations survive, continuing to take our tax money.
#1 story.
Does it include FCC removal of NPR freq allocations?
I remember when each night around midnight, they played the Star Spangled Banner before the screen went to display a test pattern accompanied by audio static.
I remember that vividly.
So I take it that this has immediate effect?
Hopefully!

PBS did have a few good programs (Nova science series, some symphonies and theatrical productions, operas...) ...
which is what TV was intended or hoped for, in the first place
and despite an obvious leftwing bias, they even had some talent on some of their NPR radio programs...
but alas, PBS/NPS has so many communist/leftist propaganda programs now.. and their news is so biased too.,,
we can get our science and culture via other means including nowadays the internet (inbetween cute kitty cat videos, of course), thank you
More winning!
