Just a reminder that @SenThomTillis voted to confirm both Merrick Garland and Lisa Monaco to lead Biden's DOJ. Now he wants to sink the confirmation of acting DC US attorney Ed Martin, who is investigating corruption at that office under Garland/Monaco leadership.

Some people are just broken and evil. This guy is stupid to boot.
Will do! Thank you😊
Thank you!
If you get a response, I’d love to hear what he says.
Maybe I’ll contact my Senators and ask them to ask him this same question.
Maybe we all could. The govt forms don’t let you contact a Senator unless you are in their state - even though the decisions they make impact us all. Maybe we need to contact him through our Senators. Let them ALL know what we think about this.
Not certain, but I think his term expires next year. He barely won his primary battle last time around, so he should be beatable if he were to be primaried again.

Everyone should call his office tomorrow.
First, Governor Wallace was not a Republican.
Second, Governor Wallace was not governor of America; he was governor of Alabama attempting to enforce state law adopted by the Alabama legislature on behalf of the state's voters. He was doing the job he was elected to do.
Third, it is not clear that the “will of America” in 1963 was a colorblind society.
I will say this: forced integration at the point of federal bayonets was a noble experiment.
Correct.
The 17th amendment.
He's beholden to the PACs and donors who supported his election, not the state legislature that would have appointed him.

I think the term Private Label Democrats is more accurate. Same product, marketed to a different customer.
Roy Cooper will beat Tillis in 2026.
Tillis is annoying. But we're better off with him.
Not in NC. This isn't Texas.
“Roy Cooper will beat Tillis in 2026”
This is my fear.
