President Donald Trump plans to sign a presidential memorandum on Thursday cracking down on foreign contributions in American elections
What weight does a presidential proclamation have in terms of law? We've seen how the federal judiciary continues to block Trump's EOs and his exercise of Executive Branch functions. Are there already laws regulating or prohibiting foreign contributions in US elections? If not, perhaps we can somehow, someway rouse Mike Johnson and John Thune from their hibernation to actually do their jobs and pass legislation with the majority Trump gave them?

We don’t need legislation.
We need enforcement.
Where are the arrests, Blondi?

Are there already laws regulating or prohibiting foreign contributions in US elections? Yes there are! But they are not enforced, for some odd reason.................
