In one of the best examples of "sleep in the bed you made" moments you'll ever see, Star Wars actor and voice of the Joker, Mark Hamill, decided to promote his new film on Bluesky. The only trouble is that this particular film involves the celebration of Jesus Christ, and Bluesky is a place where you won't find a lot of Jesus fans.

Until this movie, the only other good movie he ever did was "The Big Red 1"
That is funny
Charles Dickens attempts to perform a recital of A Christmas Carol before a theater audience, only to be constantly interrupted by his overly rambunctious son Walter, who very noisily acts out the exploits of King Arthur backstage with the aid of his rotund feline sidekick. The performance ruined, Dickens considers punishing the boy, but his wife Catherine suggests the writer instead try to lure Walter away from his obsession with the Round Table by offering him another story about a king even greater than Arthur: the "King of Kings", Jesus Christ. Walter doesn’t believe such a thing is possible but reluctantly agrees to give his father’s story a listen, but only with the caveat that he be allowed to abandon it once boredom sets in.
However, as the tale unfolds, Walter becomes so emotionally involved in the life of Jesus that he demands his father finish the story, no matter how upsetting it might get. As the story moves along, not only does Walter become invested in it, but he also starts to imagine he is part of it, with he and his cat Willa traveling side by side with Jesus and the disciples, and witnessing the various events in Christ's life: the Nativity, the Ministry, the Passion, and the Resurrection. He gradually comes to know and love Jesus. His father also explains him the meaning of Jesus' sacrifice by telling him the story of Adam and Eve and the original sin, but Walter has great difficulty accepting and understanding such an atrocious and unjust death.
Walter is saddened by Jesus' death, when suddenly, he finds himself sinking to the bottom of the sea, like the apostle Peter when he walked on water. Walter begs Jesus to save him. Jesus appears, hugs him tenderly, pulls him out of the water and takes his place underwater. He disappears, replaced by a huge empty cross.
Back on dry land, Walter contemplates this immense cross in front of him. He has experienced redemption and salvation from sin and death through Christ's sacrifice: he deeply understands Jesus' infinite love for him and is overwhelmed with love and gratitude. Then he witnesses the Resurrection and sees Jesus, alive, standing in front of him. Jesus smiles to him and slowly moves away towards the horizon, as the sun rises.
As Walter runs to tell his siblings the story, Dickens makes the decision to write down the life of Jesus for his children. Then these words of Jesus appear on the screen, taken from the Gospel of John: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
In September 2024, it was announced that an animated adaptation loosely based on The Life of Our Lord by Charles Dickens was in development, with Kenneth Branagh, Uma Thurman, Roman Griffin Davis, Oscar Isaac, Forest Whitaker, Pierce Brosnan, Mark Hamill, and Ben Kingsley joining the cast.[3] In March 2025, veteran voice actors Dee Bradley Baker, James Arnold Taylor, Jim Cummings, Fred Tatasciore, and Vanessa Marshall were each announced to be among the cast through social media.[4][5][6][7][8]
Despite being a South Korean production, visual effects were done by Animost Studio in Vietnam, the post-production was done at the SunJive Studios in Adelaide, and the voice cast are American and British.
In November 2024, Angel Studios acquired the rights to the film in North America. The official teaser for the film was released in November 2024.[9] It was released on April 11, 2025.[9]
In the United States and Canada, The King of Kings was released alongside The Amateur, Warfare, and Drop, and was projected to gross $12–14 million from 3,200 theaters in its opening weekend.[10] The film made $14.6 million in pre-sales heading into its release.[11] The film made $7 million on its first day, including $2 million from Thursday night previews. It went on to overperform and debut to $19.4 million, finishing second at the box office behind A Minecraft Movie.[12][13] In its second weekend, which coincided with Good Friday and Easter, the film made $17.6 million (a drop of just 9%), finishing in third.[14]
On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 65% of 52 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 6/10.[15] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 42 out of 100, based on six critics, indicating "mixed or average" reviews.[16] Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the film a rare average grade of "A+", while those surveyed by PostTrak gave it a 94% overall positive score, with 83% saying they would definitely recommend the film.[12] - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_King_of_Kings_(2025_film)
A note for Hamill, like so many other useful stooges - the left and the godless don’t care about YOU, they only want you as a ‘window piece’ for promoting their culture of degradation.
Cross them and you will discover what you really mean to them.
Interesting timing...
Hasn’t some new season of some new Star Wars series that cost too much and nobody’s watching just dropped...?
Nice try, Hamill.
