SCOTUS wrote Trump had to, “facilitate his release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador.” They don’t mention returning anybody anywhere. He could have just been sent to another country.
He’s a citizen of El Salvador. He’s in El Savador. The government will not release him. End of discussion.
