Congress needs to get a spine and actually do something. This seems very doable.

Don’t recall hearing if this has been done previously, but it’s high time. I suppose the Senate would need to concur.

As a member of the Peanut Gallery, I’m in 100%.
The Judge looks like a Deep State operative from here.

Roberts has at least given tacit approval to everything Boasberg has done. He could stop this shiite with a single phone call.

So now, we can impeach judges and get them removed by a simply majority in the Senate?

You can’t do that. Boasberg will put a TRO on Congress too.

Resolutions do nothing.

Resolutions are used by Congress to express opinions, sentiments, or decisions on matters within its own authority. They are often used for internal housekeeping, commemorating events, honoring individuals, or stating the position of Congress on a particular issue.

I’m never going to call impotent grandstanding or virtue signaling brave or great no matter who does it or no matter what the reason is.

This is how the Congress is supposed to act. Congress will certainly let the Article III Judges know what lane they are required, by statutes, to stay in.

If not, then the Congress is in on this Judicial coup!!

“”...failing to uphold the Constitution’s ā€œgood behaviorā€ clause...””

Yes, having a major conflict of interest (his daughter’s gig), yet insisting on ruling over the case anyway is definitely judicial ‘bad behavior’.

This is great

Maybe...until the Dems decide to use it against judges and justices they don't like.

Turtle warned Democrats they'd regret overturning the judicial filibuster for lower court nominees, and he was right. Because when the Republicans got into power, they expanded that policy to apply to the Supreme Court as well, and that was a disaster for the Democrats.

The GOP trying to bypass the impeachment process to get rid of a piddly district court judge is just plain stupid. It'd come back to bite us in the ass, only much harder, the next time the Democrats control Congress.

Yeah, but good luck getting even a majority in the Senate with all the Rino’s. Unless that can be bypassed as well.

The only way to remove him is to impeach him or eliminate his court.
