200 Tesla Showrooms Bracing for Saturday Protests as Movement Against Musk Escalates
America First Report ^ | March 28, 2025 | Staff

* Global protests against Elon Musk escalate into vandalism, arson, and domestic terrorism, targeting Tesla showrooms.

* The FBI labels attacks on Tesla facilities as domestic terrorism, arresting suspects amid violent incidents.

* Protest organizers deny violence but face criticism for rhetoric fueling extremism.

* Environmental activists burn EVs, contradicting their past support for green technology.

* Pro-Trump counterprotests emerge as tensions rise ahead of planned demonstrations.

Elon Musk continues to be the focal point of a global protest movement that claims to oppose his influence over government policy but has increasingly devolved into vandalism, arson, and domestic terrorism. This Saturday, nearly 200 Tesla showrooms worldwide will face demonstrations organized under the banner of “Tesla Takedown,” a self-described grassroots campaign demanding accountability for Musk’s role in the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

While organizers insist their movement is non-violent, the FBI has launched a task force to investigate coordinated attacks on Tesla facilities, including Molotov cocktails, gunfire, and anti-Musk graffiti—acts the agency labels “domestic terrorism.”

The irony is incredible: the same left-wing activists who once championed Tesla for its green credentials are now burning its cars, polluting the environment, and endangering first responders. The hypocrisy exposes a movement unmoored from its principles, willing to embrace destruction when its ideological enemies refuse to comply.

A movement’s contradictions

Tesla Takedown organizers, like Bay Area activist Vickie Mueller Olvera, frame their protests as a righteous stand against Musk’s “hijacking” of democracy. “Nobody voted for this, and nobody voted for Elon,” Olvera told The Guardian. “He’s an unelected super-billionaire and he’s a thug.” Yet while Olvera’s rhetoric is heated, her group publicly condemns property destruction. The same cannot be said for the shadowy factions operating alongside them.

In recent weeks, Tesla facilities from Austin to Seattle have been firebombed, spray-painted with swastikas, and riddled with bullets. In Colorado, a woman allegedly torched multiple Teslas while scrawling “Nazi” on a dealership sign. In Massachusetts, seven charging stations were burned. Even individual Tesla owners report being harassed, their cars keyed or defaced. The FBI, now treating these attacks as domestic terrorism, arrested a suspect in Las Vegas this week after a showroom was targeted with Molotov cocktails.

Musk and Trump have seized on the violence to discredit the broader protest movement. “The real problem is not the crazy guy that firebombs a Tesla dealership,” Musk told Fox News. “It’s the people pushing the propaganda that caused that guy to do it.” Trump, meanwhile, has vowed to prosecute perpetrators under terrorism statutes.

Left’s green hypocrisy on full display

The most glaring contradiction lies in the environmental left’s sudden abandonment of Tesla—a company it once celebrated for pioneering electric vehicles (EVs). Now, instead of reducing emissions, activists are literally setting EVs ablaze, releasing toxins into the air and forcing firefighters to risk their lives.

Protest organizers dismiss the violence as the work of rogue actors. “We are a non-violent grassroots protest movement,” Tesla Takedown’s official statement reads. But critics argue the movement’s incendiary rhetoric—labeling Musk a “fascist” and Teslas “Swastikars”—fuels the extremism.

A tense weekend ahead

With tensions escalating, law enforcement is bracing for clashes. Pro-Trump “Tesla Shield” counter-protests are planned, and organizers like Terry Beck in New Jersey are mobilizing caravans to “support a Trump ally.” Meanwhile, anti-Tesla activists admit they fear vehicular attacks. “We’re pretty vulnerable,” said Adam Sheridan, a New Jersey organizer.

The FBI’s involvement suggests this is no ordinary protest movement. Whether Tesla Takedown can distance itself from the violence remains to be seen—but for now, the left’s embrace of eco-vandalism has exposed its moral bankruptcy. As Musk’s net worth tumbles and his cars burn, one thing is clear: the movement claiming to defend democracy is doing so by destroying the very institutions it claims to protect.

The “Tesla Takedown” protests reveal a left increasingly willing to abandon its principles for political vengeance. Once cheerleaders for green technology, activists now torch the very symbols of environmental progress—all while decrying the “fascism” of a man they once admired. The FBI’s crackdown may curb the violence, but the hypocrisy will linger long after the smoke clears.

Normally I would agree with you, but we’re talking about people who would happily, joyfully, gleefully exterminate you and I in a concentration camp if given half a chance.

No quarter given, none asked.

“Also, I’ve read early on that using air conditioning or heat can drain the batteries fairly quick, so that is a concern for longer trips- will just have to make sure to top up sooner on the trip. But for around town they should be fine.”

not really: in my part of the country where both the winters and summers can be brutal, EVs go into hibernation during the winter, nary a one to be seen on the roads then ... but when the spring thaw occurs, they come out of hibernation in droves, but then go back to sleep again in the heart of summer, awakening again only when autumn leaves start to color ...

“Gotta look at the pros and cons just like anything really. They are zippy- great acceleration it is said. Quiet, fun”

hybrids give then same zip and acceleration thrill as EVs since the only difference between an EV and a hybrid is that hybrids carry their own ICE-powered chargers onboard ...

“No need to key or burn vehicles. Just get a stack of Trump stickers and put them on the protester’s cars. Then sit back and watch nature take its course.”

karma magnets! ... i love it! ...

in fact, buy some MAGA/Trump support slogans printed on flat vinyl magnets, and you’re not even damaging the paint by attaching one!

quite frankly, this would an incredible trend to go viral!

i’ll have to say i just LOVE my new 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid! ... but hated the rough ride of the black 19” factory wheels with rubber-band tires though, so replaced with genuine Honda 17” machined magnesium wheels and stick-to-the-road tires ... also upgraded the seats with gray katskin leather upholstery and had all the windows tinted, both partially due to the all-black interior and the hot climate ...

Honda pretty much nuked all the luxury packages for their Accord lineups with almost non-existent other options, so you have to do it with your own mods. And to get the exterior color you want, you have to move up or down the trim packages, which otherwise don’t hardly have a nickle’s actual mechanical difference between them ...

at any rate, the thing accelerates like a bat out of hell and corners like it’s on rails ... finally getting used to the backup camera, but really appreciate the side traffic warnings ... disabled a few of the more obnoxious warnings such as lane warnings ...

Just look for cars with those crazy “coexist” stickers and slap a Trump sticker or magnet right on top of it.

LEOs should treat them like J6s were . Everyone here knows what would happen if MAGA were to protest in such a manner.

side traffic warnings is what my folks need- and even me now- getting less reflexes as i age- My bothjer had a hybrid that would charge the battery when on gas mode if i recall right? It was one that he didn’t have to plug in- but the problem was that when it started acting up, there was noone in the area or surrounding towns who knew how to work on them- finally something happened to the batteries- so he just ended up junking it- Even took it to the toyota dealership and they didn’t have anyone there who knew how to fix it- so he just junked it- it was in pretty rough shape by then- but he liked driving it-

yeah, hybrids are insanely complicated and a wrap-around extended warranty is crazy expensive, but essential ...

hybrids have all of the stuff an ICE car has AND all the stuff an EV has, PLUS all the stuff to connect the two systems ...

i definitely wouldn’t buy one from some johnny-come-lately Hybrid brand, a European car company, or from a company like Stellantis known to make junk to start with
