In one of the more horrific moments, even for it, to be aired so far this year on CNN, panelists on one of the network’s late-night programs joked and laughed about the domestic terror campaign against Tesla cars, dealerships, and owners, a campaign of property destruction and violence meant to get Elon Musk to back off running the Department of Government Efficiency.
President Trump, as background, has said that because attacks on Telsa are obviously political in nature, they will be treated as domestic terrorism. Making that pledge, Trump announced, “I will label attacks on Tesla dealerships as domestic terrorism…. We already know who some of them are, we are going to catch them.”
In any case, the incident occurred during CNN’s late-night comedy program, Have I Got News for You, on Saturday, March 22. During the program, the show’s panelists laughed and joked about domestic terrorism and riots that could come as a response to Elon Musk’s recent pledge to get involved with backing conservative candidates in judicial races.
Leading the charge on that was the far-left activist and alleged comedian Amber Ruffin, who asked, in relation to Elon’s pledge, “When do we riot?” Shockingly, the crowd for the late-night comedy show didn’t react with horror, and instead responded to her threats of violence with cheers and applause.
Building on that, “Reno 911” actor Michael Ian Black jumped in and joked about participating in the attacks on Tesla cars and dealerships, something Trump has said will be treated as domestic terror. Black said, “Here’s what I’ve been doing: I’ve been going around to random Tesla dealerships and lighting cars on fire.”
Continuing, Black mocked the Trump Administration’s attempts to hold those who are advocating for domestic terror attacks to be held accountable, saying, “I just realized: There’s a good chance I’ll get arrested for saying I was lighting cars on fire at a Tesla dealership. I didn’t do that, I wouldn’t do that.” Watch them here:

AG Pam Bondi spoke about the Tesla domestic terror matter in a statement released by the Department of Justice in which she said, “The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended. Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”
That came as part of a statement in which the DOJ announced that Trump’s vow to treat the attackers as what they are was being upheld. It said, “Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced charges against three individuals responsible for the violent destruction of Tesla properties. All three defendants will face the full force of the law for using Molotov cocktails to set fire to Tesla cars and charging stations.”
Describing what those three Tesla attackers have done, the DOJ added, “One defendant, also armed with a suppressed AR-15 rifle, was arrested after throwing approximately eight Molotov cocktails at a Tesla dealership located in Salem, Oregon. Another was arrested in Loveland, Colorado after attempting to light Teslas on fire with Molotov cocktails. The defendant was later found in possession of materials used to produce additional incendiary weapons. In Charleston, South Carolina, a third defendant wrote profane messages against President Trump around Tesla charging stations before lighting the charging stations on fire with Molotov cocktails.”
they need to be sued for encouraging the violence.
I prefer they receive the violence they advocate.
And they wonder why nobody wants to watch CNN...
The liberals I know in my family don’t know what to do. They are not watching “news”. One said she’s listening to old 70s music. These people have lifestyles and spouses to answer to. Weakness
They ar completely rudderless
I’m glad I don’t have any liberals in my family.................
Do they own any Teslas? It’s like they’re laughing about damaging other liberal’s cars. To be a liberal is completely rudderless. Wow.
They’re fine. We just talk about music and food. Sports. We were raised to not talk about politics The spouses get involved some Don’t have the old never talk politics sex or religion ingrained
And I get to see how they come up with their notions that our county and future are ok under communist er democrat rule
I do not engage.
Oh they absolutely own Teslas.
They need something much worse than that
Let’s have a laugh after burning down their homes.
What a riot!
The BIG news in the story is that CNN has a comedy show. One that actually admits to being comedy. Gutfeld must be shaking in his boots.
>>>Don’t have the old never talk politics sex or religion ingrained<<<
Add sports, weather, race relations to that....................
So they’re eating their own. I’m speechless.
Lefties really don’t like each other. Trump is the first to come along and exploit those differences.
It may still work out in the Middle East as the muslims hate each other more than the Jews.
That's been my observation too, they just hate conservatives more.
President Trump really needs to extend that to all individuals who damage Tesla autos to make a political statement. And to violent people who threaten Tesla automobile drivers. This is a loosely federated terrorism group whether the attacks are on dealerships, privately owned vehicles or Tesla drivers. All of those have one motivation -- to put Tesla out of business. To me, it looks like a clear case where RICO can be applied:
RICO aims to dismantle criminal enterprises—originally the Mafia, but now applied to drug cartels, corrupt businesses, gangs, and even some political schemes—by holding participants accountable for a collective pattern of illegal acts, not just isolated crimes.
Key Elements:
Enterprise: A group (formal like a corporation, or informal like a gang) with a structure and purpose, legal or illegal.
Racketeering Activity: A list of 35 specific crimes (defined in 18 U.S.C. § 1961(1)), including murder, extortion, bribery, fraud, money laundering, drug trafficking, and more. These are called "predicate acts."
Pattern: At least two predicate acts within 10 years, showing continuity and relatedness (e.g., not random crimes but part of a coordinated effort).
Interstate Commerce: The enterprise’s activities must affect commerce across state lines or internationally, a broad threshold often easily met.
Maybe more could be applied, too:
7. Extortion (this is a state law offense in RICO. The perps are attempting to extort concessions from DOGE)
18. Wire fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1343) -- the perps have to be using interstate communications to plan their attacks.
19. Financial institution fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1344) -- the perps are attempting to destroy Tesla, Inc.
I keep running into online bozos, who think they are smart and clever by saying, “I remember a time when the media wasn’t partisan.”
**Lefties really don’t like each other.
That’s been my observation too, they just hate conservatives more.**
Israel is using the stick. They have to. Then there’s the carrot. It’s limited but worth the effort.
When was that 1620?.....................
