Saturday's edition of MSNBC's The Weekend absolutely tore into Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for rounding up a sufficient number of his fellow Dem senators to vote for the continuing resolution and avoid a government shutdown.
Co-host Michael Steele said Republicans had demonstrated their ability to "absolutely punk" Schumer.
Then it was Donna Edwards' turn to dump on Schumer. The former Democrat congresswoman, now an MSNBC analyst, said Schumer's actions were a "black mark, a stain," on his leadership. She called support for the CR by 10 Democrat senators an "absolute disaster."
And then there was the ever-emotive Symone Sanders. The co-host said she was "pissed" by Schumer, who "folded like a paper napkin." Sanders declared that she is "going to change my registration to independent."

Wow...they really chucked Schumer under the bus.
Why is this PMSNBC’s business. They’re just a bunch of ahos in the fascist far-left “media”.
Kabuki theater. Nothing happens between the democrats and lamestream media that isn’t directed and planned.
Isn’t it the time for Democrats to “reach across the aisle”? Or is that something only the Republicans are supposed to do?
Another anchor for the All-Ugly Team.
No, Schumer’s wife is a man. A lot of that going around lately, all over the world.
They punked themselves. There was no reason for them to oppose this bill as it kept everything at current levels. MSNBC, House Dems, and the like created a phony controversy that was not sustainable. What exactly were they opposing? They could not provide any explanation as to what it was they were actually opposing. MSNBC pundits’ rant after the fact still doesn’t indicate why it should have been opposed.
