MSNBC Scorches Schumer For CR Support: 'Punked, Folded Like a Paper Napkin'

Saturday's edition of MSNBC's The Weekend absolutely tore into Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for rounding up a sufficient number of his fellow Dem senators to vote for the continuing resolution and avoid a government shutdown.

Co-host Michael Steele said Republicans had demonstrated their ability to "absolutely punk" Schumer.

Then it was Donna Edwards' turn to dump on Schumer. The former Democrat congresswoman, now an MSNBC analyst, said Schumer's actions were a "black mark, a stain," on his leadership. She called support for the CR by 10 Democrat senators an "absolute disaster."

And then there was the ever-emotive Symone Sanders. The co-host said she was "pissed" by Schumer, who "folded like a paper napkin." Sanders declared that she is "going to change my registration to independent."

Fire up the popcorn maker, sit back, and enjoy watching the Democrats tear each other apart.

Watching msdnc is great entertainment. Today, Ayman was going nuts over the Hamas guy from Columbia college being “illegally detained without a warrant”.

Democrats chickens have come home to roost. They courted the crazies and all the minority fringe mental patients and now they have to answer to them.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I hope the extreme far left continues to tighten its grip on the Democrat Party. There is no semblance of a centrist wing of that party anymore and it will lead to more defeats.

Keep it up AOC, MSNBC, CNN and all the rest of the far left kooks. A disorganized and out of power Democrat Party only benefits this nation.

“There is no semblance of a centrist wing of that party anymore and it will lead to more defeats.”

True, but we still have the traitorous GOPe/uniparty as a fill-in.

So, what did the MSPMS “Anal”ist predict the effect would be if Schumer didn't decide to do the Right Thing (tm) and shut down the government. Schumer said it himself: “shutting down the government would give Trump a chance to do even more damage (in the eyes of Democrats)”.

Schumer did not feel lucky but he is a punk.

Schumer actually made the right choice for ‘his side’ by voting for the CR since it somewhat ties Trump’s hands fiscally, but the bald negrette apparently doesn’t get it.

Chuckles just assumed that the GOP Freedom Caucus would stand on principle and gum up the works like they always do, the rest of the Republicans would panic over the thought of a “shutdown”, like they always do, then the Donks could get a CR more to their liking and if not blame the republicans for a “shutdown”. Didn’t figure on PDJT cracking the whip and getting everyone in line. There was no Plan B. Another case of FAFO.

Very true. We still have quite a few of them to boot out of Congress.

You are correct…he saved the Democrat party… DOGE would have been funded privately and they would have the shutdown as exhibit A for all their cuts… all NGOs would have been shut down…. I am sad that he caved…. It he knows that would have been the death blow for the Democrats.

I’m guessing that Chuckie decided that if the RAT party was ever going to be a factor in US politics, they needed to quit being aholes.

These leftist lunatics just aren’t smart enough to understand that Schumer probably saved the Democrat Party from a huge public backlash by ‘caving’.

Their blind Trump hatred makes them even stupider than they are by nature.

They don’t remember that just a year ago THEY were the ones screeching in panic that “The Republicans are going to ‘shut down the government’, we’re all going to die!!!!!”.

Don’t worry... There’s still September, when the real spending based on Trump programs happens... Chucky will not have choice but to shut down the government...
