Schumer turns Judas Iscariot as Democrat civil war breaks out!
Flopping Aces ^ | 03-14-25 | DrJohn

It's been about two months since Trump has been in office. The price of eggs has dropped. The prices of gas and oil are down. The last alive-remaining American Hamas hostage has been released. Inflation has dropped. Companies have committed to over $1.5 trillion in new investment in the US. DOGE is humming along.

democrats were already on the edge of insanity.

According to Democrats, this is the apocalypse, folks. No really, Democrat expectations for the economy have NEVER been lower, including the global financial crisis and covid. For Democrats, this is the 10th circle of hell. pic.twitter.com/8Gie6ln9NA

Now civil war has broken out among democrats and Chuck Schumer has turned Judas Iscariot. He says he now will vote for the Continuing Resolution

This must be HUMILIATING for Chuck Schumer!
"I believe it is my job to make the best choice for the country, to minimize the harms to the American people. Therefore, I will vote to keep the government open and not shut it down." pic.twitter.com/BoA9JWVqtP

At first it sounds unreal, but it is simply one more example of Schumer covering his own ass. He has always lorded potential shutdowns over Republicans in the past. In 2018 he said

"we shouldn’t shut down the government over a dispute,"

Plus, from Grok:

Additionally, in 2021, he warned that Republican refusal to support a clean debt ceiling increase could lead to a shutdown and economic chaos, accusing them of "playing a dangerous game" by tying government funding to ideological demands. These statements reflect Schumer's consistent stance that government shutdowns are detrimental and that Republicans have historically been responsible for pushing the government toward such outcomes.
But here is Schumer trying to save his ass

Chuck Schumer just called Republicans “bastards” after he was forced to cave on CR: “It's much, much better not to be in the middle of a shutdown, which would divert people from the number one issue we have against these bastards!” pic.twitter.com/8C0JTjMy02

This has ignited a firestorm on the left.

CEO Branding Expert:

Chuck Schumer showed about as much spine as a wet paper bag. If you're going to rebel, then rebel. It might be misguided, but at least it's principled. Instead, the leader of the party in the Senate folded in less than 24 hours. Schumer talked tough, vowed to block the House’s CR, and then caved overnight. No leverage gained, no fight, just a quick surrender. If this was all just political theater, what was the point? Does he know what he stands for anymore?
#GrabHuimByTheBalls
Shut up. Resign. Today. Disgrace. #ChuckSchumer is a sellout.
AOC whines

House Democrats — especially AOC — are LIVID over Schumer caving on the government shutdown, and it's a sight to behold.pic.twitter.com/GAhlI2Cpub

Ayanna Pressley, another member of the Idiot Caucus, weighs in

Democrats are seething over Donald Trump's post praising Chuck Schumer — Ayanna Pressley: "We do not want to be praised by Donald Trump."

Here are Schumer and Pelosi praising each other on how in the past they set Donald Trump up.

A Dem civil war would be great. We can stand back and watch them destroy themselves.

Since the Dems lost in Nov., instead of doing a deep dive into what they did wrong, they doubled down on everything the American people voted against! This is the result of that.

Just deleting their unbelievable USAID dollars funding their uncontrolled lawless anti-American insanity has severely weakened them. CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, shills, Trolls, NGOs and bots are no longer getting paid.

While others are left scrambling for fear of their corruption being fully uncovered.

If we remember back in Reagan’s first term, his first year in office the economy didnt come back right away but the naysayers had spoken too soon. I see similarities with this 2nd Trump term. Too many blinded idiots forgot (or on purpose) that Trump’s first term had a roaring economy all through until the plandemic hit and then stupid Rat’s shut down government and business across the states.

It almost seems like someone had a ‘word’ with Schumer. And now Rand is pulling a ‘Manchin’.

One show I was watching today said that Schumer told his retarded children that if a shutdown happened, Trump would have all the power, and wold shut down the courts. All the Dems have is the courts now.

I’m a firm believer that the first people to lose their paychecks should be congress since they don’t do their job and see that the government is funded, then they should be the first. And that means all their transportation, meal funds, personal staff payments, clothing and appearance maintenance people like barbers and maids/butlers, and chefs unless they can pay for them out of their own pockets using no gaining funds. And if they are living in government housing, they pay rent and electricity/gas and are responsible for the maintenance of the facilities out of their own pockets during the time they are off the payroll.

In other words, live like the people they are cutting off. Goose/gander.

Schumer is just playing it smart, given the cards he has been dealt.

His "base" did nothing for the Dems except alienate middle America. So his "base" now
wants to alienate middle Americans even more? Good plan.

I think it was a non-consequential time in the vote, and Nancy Pelosi told him to vote “NO”......who knows. Democrats are TOAST, regardless, right now.
