Robert F. Kennedy Jr., now serving as Secretary of Health and Human Services under President Trump, made waves on Monday when he joined Sean Hannity for an interview at a Florida Steak ‘n Shake location.
The two conservative powerhouses dug into burgers and fries while discussing the real health crisis gripping America—one caused by decades of government-endorsed junk science that pushed seed oils and ultra-processed foods on the public.
Earlier this year, Steak ‘n Shake announced that by February 2025, all its locations will transition away from vegetable oil—a product long criticized for its links to inflammation, obesity, and chronic disease.

“Jim Hoft is the founder and editor of The Gateway Pundit, one of the top conservative news outlets in America.”

one of the top conservative news outlets in America?......BULL$hit
RFK Jr. a conservative powerhouse? I don’t think so. He’s just a temp ally.
“The two conservative powerhouses” that made me laugh. Hannity is no more a conservative than all those “my good friend” democrats he hangs out with and has on his shows...
Now if he can just get McDonalds to return to frying french fries in beef tallow all will be well with the world.
I just ordered a 2 lb jar of beef tallow for $25.00
They can fry their food on whatever they want, but RFK shouldn’t be promoting a fast food joint that promotes their DEI policy.
Some time ago they switched to “seed” oils on the premise that it was healthier. Now we’re heading back to where we started from.
Can’t begin to count the number of food items that have one year been “healthy” and the next to be avoided to only switch sides yet again.
Yeah, trust the science!
Hannity a conservative? Wishy washy at best

Tic-toc!
$12.50 a pound seems a little high.
Maybe its the processing.
Here is 10 lbs of beef trim fat for $30
Both cooked potato, and any form of grain foods, might as well be little piles of their same weight in sugar.
The wheat starch used for the buns is amylopectin A, a branched-chain glucose polymer that is trivially cleaved to glucose by the human enzyme amylase, starting with saliva (and keeping your dentist in business too). Wheat has other problems, of course.
Potato starch is also a glucose polymer, depolymerized by cooking. The frying produces advanced glycation end products, too.
Slap on an OTC CGM for a month and ‘diagnose’ some meals, with a goal of BG in the 60-100mg/dL range at all times, without meds. If you consume so-called fast food, you'll be shocked.
So while it's valuable to get the industrial grain and legume ‘vegetable’ oils, high in Omega 6 linoleic acid, out of restaurant cooking, it's by far not the #1 problem.
I bet JD’s wife won’t be happy about these changes.
The average American would not understand anything you said in your post.
...either way, your post is spot on.
I've been avoiding carbs since September. I'm not perfect, but it is doable.
I make my own tallow. Good beef suet is 75 cents a pound here. Slowly melt down and strain. You can reuse often just let it cool and strain. Commercial tallows may have chemicals added double check.
that’s all we deepfry in. bought a Half cow share a few years back and asked for our half of the bones for bone broth, half the suet and half of the cut off fat to make tallow with. what we got was all of the bones, all of the suet and all of the cut off fat from a 1600lb. grass fed steer! canned 30 quarts of high quality bone broth, then rendered 4 lbs of the suet and 35 quarts of high quality, triple filtered tallow that has lasted for 4 years and will keep us in tallow for at least 4 to 5 more years. when ALL water is removed and it’s triple filtered, tallow will last indefinitely. great for homemade fries and chicken tenders, carrot fries and pastries...and eggs with hash browns. now I’m hungry. just my 2.
Last year, while passing through the San Pedro Sula (Honduras) airport, I had the Dunkin Donuts hash rounds. They were obviously fried in beef tallow. They tasted like a freshly grilled steak. IT WAS HEAVENLY!

How about teaching people who cannot understand that technical post to eat few refined carbs, and only when balanced with some fat or protein. The worst thing a person with diabetes / prediabetes can do is to eat carbs by themselves. That is simple to understand.
