With fiscal responsibility at the forefront, GOP members rally behind the CR to ensure the nation's focus stays on essential issues... I completely disagree. With fiscal responsibility now being popular among the masses, NOW is the time to actually make a budget.

“the CR must be passed so that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) can continue”
Sounds like a false dilemma. Why does DOGE continuing to identify waste depend upon a 24th “continuing resolution”?

This is WAR.
Trump is Commander-in-Chief.
If he wants the CR passed, then just pass it.
In Trump I trust.
He’s the one taking the fire, and has the wound to prove it.

If the government “runs out of money”, the essential services are still continued.
Who decide what is “an essential service”?
President Trump.
I don’t think DOGE needs a CR. It will just keep doing what it’s doing.

The majority of Americans are happy with DOGE. Why can’t the Democrats realize that and do what the PEOPLE want, not what THEY want?

How about when all the non-essential workers are on their paid vacation (government shut-down), they don't bring them back?
That would accomplish the size reduction DOGE wants!

Democrats can’t do crap. We have the house and senate. Heck we have two extra votes in the house and three in the senate. The democrats are stuck! We win!

Politically speaking, I’d say it’s too late to kill DOGE.
Whatever they try to do to it, DOGE and the spirit driving it will only come back stronger.

Sounds like now is a good time to identify the essential departments and fund them in a CR.
The rest are on their own.

So we have to vote for it to know what’s in it?
Let’s continue funding waste so we can expose it?
OKAY!

Of course the dems are trying to kill DOGE, they are on the receiving end of the money.

AWESOME!!! The Continiuing Resulution is the swamp monster spawned by Newt Gingrich and Bill Clinton. It's time to go back to the appropriations process so Congress battle over individual spending proposals.
You know. Like it's spelled out in The Constitution.
