If true, that's gotta be the worst episode of "Phone-a-Friend" since the plucky little Ukrainian started playing Who Wants to Be a Billionaire (in Euros)? For all you nuanced diplomatists out there, there is now a rather arcane dispute as to whether Z called the Vice President of the United States a "bitch" or merely interjected "f**king hell":

It's pretty easy here too. Russia has wanted a resolution in Donbas since 2014. Ukraine continuously and systematically violated all of the agreements, continuing to shell Russian forces as well as civilian populations in the cities. The SVO started when it became clear to Putin that enough was enough, and it was necessary to bring the hammer down. In another way of putting it, the Ukrainians became familiar with the term "FAFO".

All Trump needs to stop is stop the Ukranians from attacking the Russians, and the peace will hold. I am confident that Russia has no further territorial ambitions here.

That’s the tricky part, what guarantees will there be to protect the Russian inhabitants of those areas.

Many recall what happened to the Germans who inhabited The Sudetenland after the war. The Czechs went hog wild and massacred many of them and forced them out.

Putin certainly wants to avoid that for the ethnic Russians in those areas.

Rubio did a great job with that interview. People should stop and think — this was a guy whom Trump humiliated quite a few times when they were both running for president, and yet not only has Rubio stood up and gotten past it, but also Trump now holds Rubio in regard and has put trust in him with some of the world’s most difficult problems. This is maturity and strength on the part of both men. They are going forward working on the problems in front of the country, not extending petty resentments.

Compare to the sissypantses like Romney, Gore, Hillary, Biden, Bill Kristol, Jim Acosta — all permanent losers who would not get on the Trump train to save their lives.

War is just bad for global business

I find that statement contrary to accepted history.

Of course it might depend on what your business is, but munitions, manufacturing, banking, shipping, etc are in high demand during war and in my opinion that is the accepted idea, and how many businesses of today have prospered over the years.

The war cannot be won. Ukraine is flush with western money and Nato weaponry, but, as JD Vance was obliged to point out, it has a massive lack of Ukrainians. If prolonging an unwinnable war will only accelerate your deathbed demography, then it's time to negotiate. And having Trump on board for that would be helpful.

That is where Zelensky is.
