Suspicious yes, but in the end it may well be carbon monoxide poisoning that killed them. Sad to lose such a talented actor

On a purported 911 call when a maintenance man found them, he said the door was shut and locked and he was looking through a window. He may have been referring to a different door but who knows.

He said he could see both of them...”They’re not moving”...so the bodies were in close proximity.

Clint Eastwood asked Gene to play that role and Gene said something like “I don’t do Westerns anymore - I don’t like the violence.”

Eastwood replied something like “Well, do me a favor and just read the script before you decide.”

I think the Daily Mail really played the “mummification” up in their click bait article.
It may just be that they were dead for awhile and their bodies shrank up in the dry Sante Fe environment.

The last pictures I saw of him were almost unrecognizable to the person we all remember in the movies. We was 95 years old and very thin. He may very well been suffering from something incurable that would have led to a miserable death.

As far as Hollywood kids not keeping in contact. They would not be the first rich kids that did not like their parents. Especially a much younger Step mother.

I doubt it will be redone he was the wrong color. Hollyweird doesn’t care about talent just skin tone.

Two cents, via sherlock:

Perp zapped both of them with taser, locked dog in closet.

Gene and wife succombed, dog died of dehydration. The two others running around outside had pool or other source of water, can survive two weeks .

Need to find what is missing for motive.

I’m 64 and I live alone. My daughter implemented a rule in that I have to check in with her at least once a day via text on our cell phone. Usually it’s just a simple 👍 or an emoji of an animal like a cat, bear or dog 🐱🐻🐶. That way she knows I’m still alive. I’ve been trying to find housing near her but west central Indiana has almost nothing in the way of decent rentals.

She was in bathroom with pill bottle open and scatttered

Dead dog in closet nearby

Two other dogs outside and inside

Hackman in mud room on floor

No sign of injuries or blunt force trauma or foul play wounds

No carbon monoxide present at that time

Death approx two weeks ago

They will test for cause of death

I’m guessing CO

or she found him dead and killed herself with pills but collapsing immediately with pills in hand is odd

As is sudden collapse from CO but I suppose in high enough concentration yes

There was a heater near her as well but I don’t know power source

Toxicology and autopsy should be fairly conclusive

You know, that rather unseemly thought occurred to me as well. It’s possible that the media and authorities have agreed not to report it. Just as well . . .

Otis (Ned Beatty) after he programmed the wrong coordinates in the ICBM: “I guess my arm wasn’t long enough...”

Lex Luther: “Otis! Would you like to see a very long arm!” Next scene...Otis with contusions.

My favorite scene.

It depends on the medium. For comics, John Byrne's rendition of Lex Luthor is the one that actors should study. For television, Michael Rosenbaum did the best. For the animated cartoon, Clancy Brown. However, for the movie, Gene Hackman did the best. He fit the tone of the movie perfectly. However, you are wrong about Henry Cavill filling out the suit. Here he is trying to wear Chris Reeve's suit.

Very dry climate in New Mexico. If they’ve been there for a while, the hands and feet mummify (water content dries up in the extremities first)
