I think the answer is absolutely not.
Congress sets the terms of the census. They could easily say only persons legally in the country should count for apportionment.
It’s unfair that my representation, as a US citizen, should be diluted by people here illegally in another state.
Of course, the irony is that red states across the gulf coast would likely lose representatives.

Hard working INDIVIDUALS who worked and paid taxes before retiring to a red state, have their government benefits follow them. Florida retirees from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut are a large part of that.
When you unload bug spray in an apartment, where do the other bugs go? - to every other apartment. Cracking down on illegal alien invaders in blue cities will motivate other illegal alien invaders to relocate to red cities.
Have you not been paying attention to governor Abbot of Texas sending illegal alien invaders to New York City and other blue dumps?
My very rational idea is to raid the illegal alien invaders in red states so the others take the hint and either self-deport from the country but at a minimum, self-relocate to a blue city.
In order to Make America Great Again, we need to deal with the foreign enemies who invaded AND the domestic enemies within who welcomed those invaders in by declaring "sanctuary cities".

No. I think Trumpās team has been planning and preparing. And I think it will happen soon. Perhaps very soon. I just donāt think he has the authority yet to actually order ICE and all the other agencies to do anything, and I donāt think the Biden administration is in any way cooperating with him to enable him to pull anything substantial off within 20 hours of his inauguration. I could be wrong. Weāll see on Tuesday morning.
Donāt interpret my skepticism as doubt about his intentions.
