Certainly Biden and his ilk must have known about this photo, which is why the award was given. Anyone who is associated with a Trump assassin deserves a medal. Which is why deep investigations into this administration must be conducted the minute Trump takes office. Trump is not safe and neither are we.

Biden decided that giving the medal to Ryan Routh himself would be going too far.
Doubtless one of the reasons Jose Andres received this medal was because he pulled out of a contract to open a restaurant in Trump’s International Hotel in DC back in 2016 or so, and the two sued each other over it. He claimed it was because of Trump’s remarks about Mexico “not sending their best”, citing rapists and drug dealers, as if that was astonishingly untrue. Apparently Andres seized the momen to shake down a big settlement instead of saying, “What does that have to do with me, a Spaniard born in Spain? as white Americans do when a white American does something they don’t approve of. “What does that have to do with me? I’m not them, or like them.”
