That is the two of them.
I did a search and found nothing that would explain how the two ended up getting photographed together. The most obvious reason is that someone who appreciated good food would want a picture with a great chef, just like thousands of people. Or the other hand they could be fast friends, but I doubt it.
Anyone have more info about this photograph? Are there others?
I’m surprised Biden didn’t award the Medal to Ryan Routh too.
Obvious question is: Does Jose Andres pose for photos with any fan/nutjob who asks him, or did Ryan Routh know him (perhaps through pro-Ukraine activities? Lots of Ukrainian flags in the background of the photo,and Routh supposedly tried to recruit mercs to fight in Ukraine*). The article does not explain any sort of connection between them. Routh does seems to be starving, so maybe he was there for free food.
*Note that the Vegas Trump Hotel/Tesla Cybertruck bomber was also a recruiter for Ukraine.
