President-elect Donald Trump will withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) on the first day of his new administration, according to a report from the Financial Times
The move will sever ties with the global health body and cut all of its funding.

Maybe. I see Gavin Newsom as a formidable challenger. It won't be easy to beat him. But his Achilles heel is his record in California.
He'll attempt to mislead voters on the way to the White House. He may have realized that he was vulnerable if he ran against Trump.

What a disgusting organization and a blight on world humanity. That Covid attack was more than enough justification for me to stop funding the dictators. All of those world organizations encroach on sovereignty and need to either be shut down or we need to quit our membership and stop throwing away hard earned money in their direction.

At this point in time, I totally agree with you. He has a skill set of calm strength, quick thinking, and well-thought-out speeches / responses. Combine that with the skills he can learn from Trump. 🤯 Amazing!

I’m thinking the same, just as before, time and time again. In fact Alexander was pointing out that the Europeans use their tiny level of military spending as leverage to keep us from leaving (in other words, if the Europeans ever made it to 5%, they wouldn’t even need US troops there).
The only catastrophic effect will be to the pocketbooks of the global grifters. UN should be next.

We were on a cruise for two weeks and Americans made up about 85% of passengers (a guess). I wore my Trump hat and my Trump shirt a few times. I didn’t get many comments, but every comment I DID get was positive.
