Here we are with the anti-Trump "he can't do that" BS starting anew. Yeah, this is about pardons, but we know it's going to be in all directions again. I have zero doubt that the moment President Trump takes his hand off that Bible on January 20 and says, "Build the wall. Now!" that Congress will immediately declare there is no money for it and President Trump will be said to have no authority to spend other funds on it. Biden can spend his last days of eating pudding pops in the Oval Office by throwing around billions like it's rice at a wedding and no one bats an eye, but come noon on January 20, 2025, the real President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, will suddenly not have discretion to buy paper clips at the local Staples.

Oh, I should mention that a US District Judge may be impeached for his/her ethical violations. Remember Alcee Hastings?

Those judges should have been on the potential conspiracy defendants list along with the Chaney bitch.

These judge should be removed from the bench. They are operating outside their purview and outside their jurisdiction. As judges have no authority to make such gratuitous comments.This.

“These judges shouldn't be offering their opinions on pardons at all.”
By doing so they are blatantly showing their bias.

Full pardon issued for any J6er including violent ones where such civil rights violations occurred.
Compensation awarded where civil rights violations occurred. Starting at $5,000,000 and up.
Well said

Pardoning the criminals that prey on us is fine, just not the ones they protest against them.

“$5,000,000 would be a good starting point.”
I think the official rate for wrongful imprisonment in DC is $200,000 a year.
I don’t think DC pays for wrongful prosecutorial process, but $300 per day (~$100,000/year) is my suggestion.
Compensation for loss of income and legal expenses are clearly indicated.
As I recollect, DC will also pay or provide for medical care for the unjustly incarcerated.
In many J6 cases, this might be PPACA premium amounts to cover the time in process and incarcerated.
It is my understanding that leftists in the executive branch have in the past paid ‘compensation’ for ‘injustice’ without specific authorization from Congress.

Right. But pardoning Communist Chinese spies isn’t, like, fundamentally anti-American or an Existential Threat to Our Precious Democrat-cy or anything; no.

But a prosecution on political grounds has no justification in the first place.
Doesn’t take a genius to see this.

I could not disagree more strongly. These people are in prison under dreadful conditions through targeted legal & judicial malpractice. None of the “crimes” charged equates to the crimes for which repeat offenders are routinely not even charged for. Our legal system is weighted toward protection of the innocence. In your zeal for doing everything by the book you woud condemn 100’s of people to months & years more of prison while the review & the legal system ginds slowly onward. Many of these prisioners are ill, are away from family who need them. Their live are upended.
Pardon them all on day 1 and work out the compensation and the prosecutions of those who violated their civil rights later.
