New York City Mayor Eric Adams indicated to reporters Saturday that the UnitedHealth CEO’s shooter has been identified after a days-long ongoing manhunt.
However, he declined to say whether or not they have the suspect’s name, stating that he doesn’t want to tip off “the person we are seeking.”
“We do not want to give him an upper hand at all,” Adams said.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Wednesday morning that Brian Thompson was murdered outside of the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. He arrived before 7 am for a conference when he was shot at multiple times by a masked man who police say was waiting for him to arrive.
Surveillance footage shows a masked gunman waiting for Thompson before approaching and firing multiple shots at close range.
Detectives investigating the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson uncovered a potential motive: shell casings at the crime scene were inscribed with words, The Gateway Pundit reported on Thursday. The inscribed shell casings—three live 9mm rounds and three discharged casings—bearing the words “Deny,” “Defend,” and “Depose”—were found among the evidence collected at the scene, indicating the killer was possibly a disgruntled client.
Thompson’s wife, Paulette, further disclosed that the family had received threats prior to the incident, possibly related to disputes over insurance coverage.
After the attack, the gunman fled the scene on an electric bike, disappearing into Central Park.

There’s no way on God’s green Earth that the CEO wasn’t complicit in all the pain, death, torture and suffering inflicted on so many tens of thousands of United’s victims...denied basic health care, denied basic surgery, denied tests, drugs and follow-ups, resulting in so many people dying unnecessarily, so much pain inflicted, just so the shareholders and upper management could reap tens of millions of dollars in profit.
He’s no innocent in the all the deaths, all the pain, all the suffering inflicted by United Health’s denial of basic medical procedures...
I view them as an evil drug cartel or Mafia. Their upper management is rich because of all the suffering they’ve inflicted on innocent victims of their greed.
Its kind of an Elysium moment.
If they used DNA, and found his somewhat close relative, they may have him sort of ID’ed...
While I am against murder in any form, what United Healthcare and Humana was/is doing by denying care is also murder.
I pray this shines light on what has been going on. I’m not for expensive treatments that are speculative at best for people who are terminal, but they need to pay what was promised in the insurance policy.
“That doesn’t mean he’s guilty or that he deserved to be executed.”
I agree with you. However, under the “just war” concept it is ok to kill someone who is killing others, in order to save many.
If you haven’t gone through the frustration that I have of appealing their denial of care orders for a loved one (7 times), then it’s difficult to comprehend the bigger picture.
Take Fauci as an example. If it is proven that his motive in suppression of all treatments except the one he made money on, and it was not working, what punishment should he receive for killing millions through denial of proper care to feed his greed?
As an example, I have helped people fond their families. In one case, we know who his grandparents are, but not his parent.
I agree with you. UHC is a terrible insurance. I dealt with UHC working as a nurse. They deny everything. That increases the cost of healthcare due to the high administrative layers it takes to get paid. No sympathy for this CEO.
Re: 9 - grow up, pottymouth.
Re: 86 - except the just war doctrine isn’t in play with the murder of the CEO.
I’m curious as to how they know the guy arrived in NY via bus and it was days before the shooting.
Re: 15 - And you know he’s a boomer…. how?
Won't mean a thing if he's using a burner phone.
If you don’t want to tip the suspect off, why say he’s been identified?
Hopefully this is actually true.
Looked at where the burner phone(s) had been.
FWIW, that's a $2,000 pistol with a 6 - 9 month wait for the BATF stamp for the suppressor.
The feds should be able to isolate the individuals who have purchased this type of gun and registered suppressor and narrow down the search.
Insurance costs could be driven down if heart attack victims hospital shopped for the cheapest costs before calling an ambulance.
Another overreaching Gateway Pundit title: Adams wouldn’t even say whether they have the guy’s name, and he’s been “identified”?
