JUST IN: Suspect Identified in UnitedHealthcare CEO’s Assassination – NYC Mayor Eric Adams Says “The Net is Tightening”

New York City Mayor Eric Adams indicated to reporters Saturday that the UnitedHealth CEO’s shooter has been identified after a days-long ongoing manhunt.

However, he declined to say whether or not they have the suspect’s name, stating that he doesn’t want to tip off “the person we are seeking.”

“We do not want to give him an upper hand at all,” Adams said.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Wednesday morning that Brian Thompson was murdered outside of the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. He arrived before 7 am for a conference when he was shot at multiple times by a masked man who police say was waiting for him to arrive.

Surveillance footage shows a masked gunman waiting for Thompson before approaching and firing multiple shots at close range.

Detectives investigating the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson uncovered a potential motive: shell casings at the crime scene were inscribed with words, The Gateway Pundit reported on Thursday. The inscribed shell casings—three live 9mm rounds and three discharged casings—bearing the words “Deny,” “Defend,” and “Depose”—were found among the evidence collected at the scene, indicating the killer was possibly a disgruntled client.

Thompson’s wife, Paulette, further disclosed that the family had received threats prior to the incident, possibly related to disputes over insurance coverage.

After the attack, the gunman fled the scene on an electric bike, disappearing into Central Park.

More on the suspect's flight from News Nation:

And how’s that working out for us?

Not entirely well, however, we have seemingly not employed some of the tactics we could. A large class-action lawsuit would cost (for example) UHC farrrrr more than the claims they deny. Furthermore, we can use our ability to choose venders. I personally have ONE negative experience with UHC a long time ago, and never employed their services ever again.

Going outside the system and killing CEO's solves nothing and weakens us, morally, as a country.

Weather report in my area today. Cloudy, chance of flurries, possibility of lightning.

I'll stay tuned sporadically, but I have a storm door to replace at the homestead.

No, really i do. A massive wind gust the other day flung it open violently. It’s a mess.

I’m sorry. Hope it can be fixed relatively quickly and cheaply.

Maybe the gun was bought from some smash and grab MasterJ? Not too hard to get a gun...criminals have plenty, and they were not waiting for ATF approval.

Thx Laz. Already got the old one out this morning. Just have the rough opening now. Shouldn't be too bad.

Time to get breakfast and coffee on the way to Lowes. Bbs.

Something is off about this investigation. The jacket in the pictures changes (look at the photos carefully) and I don’t think the Starbucks buyer was the same guy.

Full face guy looks Indian in the A.I. recreation software version of him. In another photo he looks like a white guy.

The shooter was seen using a phone as he left the scene.

There may be several people involved - or at least two - creating a ‘shell game’ effect. If they can’t be tied together with a conspiracy, look for the full face photo guy to have an airtight alibi at the exact time of the shooting.

Monopoly money seems to be a taunt. Leaving the backpack a taunt. Leaving the cup - did he know the trash would be picked up at that precise location 20 minutes later? - another taunt. He left his casings and even the bullets with writing etched into the casing - more taunting.

I don’t think they catch this guy. He has no criminal record so he’s likely not in the system.

The clearance rate for murder in many major Dem run cities is under 40%. Amazing how the FBI and dozens of investigators show up when it’s a C.E.O.

Wonder who else is on their list? Likely a ‘dark web’ group that’ll name other targets.

Big winner here? Security firms.

The ‘throw stuff on art’ anti-oil crowd likely making up their hit list as well.

criminals have plenty, and they were not waiting for ATF approval.

Suppressors are just as regulated as full auto rifles and used as often in crimes as full autos are. Which is virtually never.

I think the writing on the bullets and the monopoly money are probably diversions. United and this CEO were under two investigations for insider trading. Nancy Pelosi is involved for her timely trade in a small cyber security company that she made $12 million off of. This CEO was supposedly set to testify in one or both investigations. The DOJ and senate are both investigating the company.

Hmmm, they don’t want to tip the guy off by releasing his name but says outright the guy has been identified.....six of one, half a dozen of the other? I’m not so sure the guy really cares about being identified because he wasn’t very careful about what he did.

No… a crooked CEO is not more important because he has a lot of employees. They already have a replacement.

The replacement would become the next target, and so on ans so forth, and where the madness ends, nobody knows. Hamas and Hezbollah 'leaders' come and "go" quickly, since as soon as a 'leader' dies, the replacement becomes the next to die. Same with CEOs or government and political leaders.

If all homicides were to become as important as those of high-value targets, then, no law-enforcement agency/department would be able to run effectively. With the high crime rates in major cities, which result in thousands of murders each year, the municipalities involved would have to hire at least twice as many law-enforcement offices in order to dedicate most of them to investigations. No town or municipality can afford to hire 2 or 3 times as many law-enforcement officers. If the weekly murders in Chicago were to be investigated the same way as the UHC case, there would be no police offices left available to patrol the streets and the annual budget of the city would be spent on law-enforcement only.

So, we are left with choices and the choices will be unfair in the eyes of the majority of people.

People in high business/industry positions, and those in government positions, will get higher protection from law-enforcement, otherwise, no business and no government entity would be able to function effectively. It's not that they are better than the common folks; it's that they are in charge of the lives of thousands or millions of people who would be affected.

I value my life more than I value the life of the UHC CEO, but I'm not as important for industry and government, so, I'm not going to envy the attention given to the dead CEO. He may have been a creep and corrupt, but it's more about how civilization has to work for the general good.

Sorry, but the just war doctrine is not an issue here. We are not at war.

And think about the implications what you are writing. Crazy libs and Dems will use such justifications to justify political acts of violence. You know, like the ones committed against President Trump this summer.

That’s not who we are as a nation.

Several posters have written approvingly of the killing.

One walked up pretty close to the line implying that more killings are in order.

Yes, people get shot all the time. Most of those are either criminals shooting other criminals. Then come the crimes of passion. In both cases, the danger to “the public” are pretty limited. So, yes…the “efforts” to catch the guilty are dependent on resources.

In this case, the killer stalked someone just because of the position they held as the executive of a large company. In a civilized country you cannot have the indiscriminate murder of people merely because they are successful. That’s called anarchy. And while it sounds “cool”, it is a slope we do not want to roll down.

I know in your beloved Russia, they just toss people out of windows. That’s not how civilized countries work. So yes, an extra effort is made to catch these murderers.

I never said he should have been murdered...not at all.

It was a serious question...what would you do.

I believe there were those who tried to correct the outrageous DENIALS, but I think there was no solution, nor remorse.

I suppose we’ll get the whole story as we are waiting for so many “whole story.” J6

The just war concept can be applied on an individual basis or a country basis.

The theories and concepts are the same. We have discussed this concept extensively at the divinity school, looking at Jesus’s teachings and how they apply.

If someone is attacking and killing your family, your loved ones, or your community, you are justified to take their life, if they are the aggressor, in order to protect the lives of others.

I’m speaking morally, not necessarily legally.

Understand.

If someone is attacking and killing your family, your loved ones, or your community, you are justified to take their life, if they are the aggressor, in order to protect the lives of others.

But that was not the case with the killing of the UHC CEO.
