Republicans on Brink of Clinching US House Control After Taking Senate

Republicans on Saturday were close to clinching control of the U.S. House of Representatives, a critical element for President-elect Donald Trump to advance his agenda when he returns to the White House in January.

With votes still being counted from the Nov. 5 general election, Republicans had won 213 seats in the 435-member House, according to Edison Research, which projected on Saturday night that Representative Dan Newhouse had enough votes to keep Republican control of Colorado's 3rd congressional district.

Republicans need to win five more seats to keep control of the House and they already have enough victories to wrest control of the U.S. Senate from Democrats, though Edison Research projected late on Friday that Democratic U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen won reelection in Nevada.

I’ll teach you to fish.

I’m having trouble with my fish finder. “Decision Desk HQ” and 270towin are no help, misleading at best. NYT and WaPo want me to subscribe. Bah, when hell freezes over!
If the Dems steal the House, they will impeach Trump again. They/Them already stole Senate seats in NV (Reid Machine) and AZ (McCain Machine). I’m praying that this cheating will not stand.

To steal whatever seats they can. If they can prevent Senate or House control, we are entering four more years of impeachment and other lawfare. We need all three.

The Republicans are favored to win the house, but it’s very close, and it could still go the other way. So now I’m simply praying for an honest count. My prayer is that God will provide the means to prevent fraud, and provide the means to discover and correct any fraudulent activity that has already occurred in time, so that we can get a free and fair election for these house seats. Please join me in this prayer.

If we’ve got the senate, any impeachment can’t get out of the House.

Repub Nick Begich is barely ahead over the Democrat in the Alaska race for US Representative. Not good, it appears the votes remaining to be counted are in western Alaska, in the villages. Where I doubt there are Repubs to police the vote counting.

What legitimate reason is there for this taking so long?

Well, the Democrat election officials need to create very large Pentagrams for group communication with their leader.

Bebich needs to get to 50%, or the ranked choice second round of counting kicks in.
