“Uneducated” Americans are holding the country “hostage,” according to an English instructor at the University of South Carolina.
“There is a reason why educated people vote blue. What we’re seeing is the uneducated population of America holding the rest of the country hostage,” Sueanna Smith wrote on X last night. “This is why there’s such a push to weaken education, ban books, and outlaw the teaching of Black history by the Republican Party.”
She wrote a handful of other posts after that attempting to clarify her point, though she continued to repeat that she believes Trump supporters are not smart.

The populations of five or six Democrat run cities hold the entire Republic hostage every four years.

The common folks certainly do not measure up to the sophistication and high intellect of the college educated Dem voters. They should stay in the driveway looking through the windows at the Dem party goers inside the mansion. Never inside.

I’m tired of pointing out that many of us here are better educated and more intelligent than a great many of those leftists. They will *NEVER* give up their bigotry. Their entire sense of self-worth is wrapped up in their education.

It was said of South Carolina in the antebellum era that it was too small for a nation and too large for an insane asylum. Looks like the University of South Carolina is trying to maintain that tradition.
People like her are incapable of it. They have no humility, and their entire sense of self-worth is bundled in their education. They consider themselves the betters of everyone else in society.
She’s just an instructor, not a professor. And after these charming & ignorant comments she will happily never get a professorship anywhere. Winning!
