Just spoke to a Democrat consultant friend on the ground in a swing state who told me I could repeat some of what we discussed. Here's what I can tell you; take it with a grain of salt if you like but I think he's being straight with me.

Nobody really thinks Kamala is going to win at this point. Canvassing is going poorly almost everywhere, with few exceptions. The party is getting their high-follower influencer accounts to push out motivational stories just to keep morale up and get them over the finish line with some dignity, but it's not great. The Iowa poll was good to give a shot of adrenaline to volunteers, but nobody important believes those numbers are real.

Of all the swing states, they're hoping Michigan comes through and possibly a late-night miracle in PA, but nobody is counting on either of them. They don't think Trump is actually going to flip VA or NH, but the fact that they've even entered the conversation is indicative of how bad things could potentially turn out.

The early vote counts are just beyond what they expected to see for Republican turnout, and has Dem strategists rethinking whether it was a good idea to make such a big push to broaden early voting in the first place. Republican low-propensity voters are activated in a way nobody really expected and the polls didn't capture it. Yes it's possible those early Republicans broke Democrat in an unprecedented way, but very unlikely.

The campaign has switched entirely to 'woman vs. man' messaging, as liberal white women are the only reliable voter bloc they can even identify at this point.

Priority now is saving some downballot races and flipping the house so the night isn't a total embarrassment for Democrats.

Like I said, take this all with a grain of salt as this is secondhand information, but this is what I was told, and I think it tracks with other things we know.

Black Pill here is someone, no matter the news goes to ...”Well, they will cheat, it’s all over.” Then, when solid news hits of a victory, they disappear for another 4 years. They slink back to Reddit, video games, simping women on OnlyFans and their part-time job at GameStop

This Guy thinks the main priority for Donkey Party insiders from the moment Biden’s mental decline became indelible public knowledge was to make ,damn sure the scheduled billions were, in fact, both raised from wealthy donors, and wastefully spent on polls, other consultancies, famous “walking around money”, etc., etc., etc.

I may have posted this article one hundred times in the last week—answering the exact same question.

I remember hearing Trump asked in an interview how he knew he’d won in 2016. He said he knew at the final rally - jam packed, well after midnight, the crowd going crazy - and no one was leaving - he said he saw that as “winning” and knew he’d won the election, which, of course, he did.

Hope same for today.

Just “keep the pedal to the metal and vote, vote, vote!” Don't forget that the “down ballot” is just as important as voting for President Trump ...if we lose the House the Dems will try to refuse certification and/or impeach Trump immediately.

I'm an independent populist and I detest RINO’s; but, we're past the primary season; so it's time to vote for whomever is currently representing the Republican Party.

That is exactly what will happen.

All the ‘migrants’ they are bringing in are nearly 100% Catholics, and very devout ones. The criminals won’t bother to vote at all, but the really destitute ones actually looking for a better life will, and it won’t be for freebie welfare, either. Being on welfare is a shameful thing to them, and Abortion is a deadly sin....................

Sounds totally plausible. Tell a colleague about bad news for your party and then say, “yeah, go tell the world”.

And how does this “focusing [only] on downballot races” work?

Do people show up to vote, and you tell them “Don’t bother voting for Harris because she’s toast, so just vote for the other Democrats and leave the president line blank”?

Yep, when democrats hold back ballot boxes in urban black communities it often means they’re waiting to find out how many ballots are needed ‘for the win’. (to ‘vote’ the people who didin’t show up to vote) Too many and it draws attention - too few and they lose. White elites send along the numbers needed - it’s not a race thing. Of course times have changed and the old ways (decades ago) might have changed.

Well said—a black pill person can take any situation and turn it into a downer—regardless of the evidence.

I won Megamillions Lotto....

...but...

...think of all the taxes I will have to pay!

Yeah, well I’m not sure it bit them. It just didn’t work for them this year likely because Harris is vapid and unlikeable. Uninspiring. Of the billions they had to spend they either misallocated it or just typical graft and not enough left for a good ground game. But I figure it’s mostly she is an uninspiring candidate and they could have 90 days of early voting nobody would still be motivated to go out and vote for her.
