Many of the people preparing to cast votes for Donald Trump in the Electoral College in 2024 were involved in his plot to subvert the election in 2020.
Some are even facing criminal charges for it.
Of the 93 Republicans designated as prospective presidential electors for Trump from the seven battleground states, eight are facing felony charges for signing false Electoral College certificates in 2020, according to a POLITICO analysis. Another five signed similar certificates in 2020 but were not charged. And at least six others played notable roles in challenging the results of the 2020 election or promoting election conspiracy theories.

fake electors are a democrat attempt to delegitimize alternates... which are constitutional.
the fake adjective is a foreshadow of what they intend to do, in order to deflect the coming storm. PROOF that it is coming.
That’s true, but it does not matter to the media. It is far too subtle a detail to point out that there were legal challenges underway after 2020 that might not have been resolved until moments before January 6, 2021. Nearly all of those challenges failed on standing, but if they had proceeded to a decision on the merits they would have been close on the heels of the electoral college procedures. Having a slate of alternate electors in place, should they be needed, was prudent planning. For the media to reflexively call them “fake electors” makes me sick.
How do you subvert a subverted election?
This time, THEY will be the ones with ‘fake’ electors....................
By calling the other side ‘cheaters’..................
