A foreigner, a young man, goes to a Trump rally and a Harris rally, and compares them.
Don't know where the rallies were.
Right......it had an unforseen reverberating effect.
Didn’t bother me at all. It was a joke but I’m interested in which distraught you were:
1: agitated with doubt or mental conflict or pain
distraught mourners
or
2: exhibiting a severely disordered state of mind : not mentally sound
Lawyer jokes.
“Without the PR joke, Biden wouldn’t have said his thought about Trump supporters. No garbage truck”
Exactly—there is so much about this election that is “supernatural” or “miraculous” or “karmic”.
—The bullet that should have killed President Trump but did not....
More recently:
—The “garbage” line by Biden
—The murder of the squirrel by Democrat storm troopers
—Kamala the elephant meets her end at the DC zoo
Even the most hardcore scientific materialist should be given pause by these kinda obvious omens....
Or the jokes about the Irish, or the Italians or the Polish.
No one cares and we all laugh because we are Americans first.
I love the theory of “GOD WINKS”. The bullet was headed straight to Trump’s head. GOD winked and said, “WATCH THIS”. The same with Biden’s Garbage.
I think you are perhaps looking at it the wrong way.
American politics is very different than the way things are done around the globe, and most especially in Communist China.
I imagine myself going to a political rally in Bangladesh, hearing from varying people “Don’t go to those rallies with those people, they will attack you as a foreigner” etc. and the other side, whatever.
I admired his curiosity. People around the world think of American political rallies having things like cowboys riding horses into the arena, guns being shot in the air, and so on.
And that is probably what they think of the LEFTIST rallies!
Seriously, I have been to many dozens of political events of various types and Conservatives have unfailingly shown themselves to be more positive, friendlier and more open.
I thought this statement was key:
“The Trump supporters were for Trump. The Kamala supporters were against Trump more than they were for Harris”
Done giving a crap what foreigners think of America.
I didn’t say that I didn’t like him or think he is intellectually lightweight. I could just tell he had two purposes there: one for Trump and the other to promote his new network. no biggee...
bump
He holds a doctorate in psychology from the University of North Texas, but he is not a licensed psychologist or medical doctor.
I see where your reasoning is, rlmorel.
Unfortunately, he was making the comments *after* the rally and still retained his thinking as before, henche his confusion.
He did not put down his personal prejudices.
Until he does he will never understand.
Many, many, new Trump supporters have admitted they FIRST had to lay aside their own prejudices in order to understand Pres Trump and those who followed him.
I think it’s like, “I see the forest,” instead of “I see the trees that make up the forest.”
“Lawyer jokes.”

LOL
Yes.
Though there is humor there is also a sad reality to the situation and they are hurting for better governance.
Well, like any person would expect to be able to do, he likely was trying to reconcile the truth with what he heard in the media...
That’s a mistake. The better approach is to simply discount the media.
