Former Florida House District 23 progressive Rep. Richard Rowe Jr., who boasted about getting vaccinated while wishing death on those who refused the shots, has died unexpectedly.
In 2021, “Rowe hatefully wrote in a Facebook post:
“Let me be real clear … I do not give a **** what happens to anti-vaxxers. I don’t.”
“Let Darwin do his work. They helped to kill 700,000 Americans. I do not have the pity or tears to spare for any of them. It’s all dried up now.”

He was defeated in the 2020 Democratic primary for reelection to Florida House by 3-1. The Republican then won in the general election by 2-1. Very unusual for an incumbent to be beaten so badly. I wonder if his covid comments hurt him.
He was a general contractor who started as a truck driver, not an educated lawyer etc.
