Secret Service Investigating Elon Musk Over Trump Assassination Post

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is being investigated for his now-deleted post questioning the assassination attempt against former president Donald Trump.

Musk’s post caught the attention of the Secret Service after he questioned the lack of attempts on the lives of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

“And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala,” Musk wrote on X.

The X owner then followed up with a reply to his own post, writing: “Well, one lesson I’ve learned is that just because I say something to a group and they laugh doesn’t mean it’s going to be all that hilarious as a post on X.”

Musk’s post was then swiftly deleted.

White House spokesperson Andrew Bates responded to Musk’s post, saying, “As President Biden and Vice President Harris said after yesterday’s disturbing news.”

“There is no place for political violence or for any violence ever in our country,’ and ‘we all must do our part to ensure that this incident does not lead to more violence.'”

Bates described Musk’s post as “irresponsible,” adding that violence should “only be condemned, never encouraged or joked about.”

Meanwhile, the Secret Service confirmed it was investigating Musk based on his remarks on the assassination attempt.

“The US Secret Service is aware of the social media post made by Elon Musk and as a matter of practice,” an agency spokesperson told the Independent.

“We do not comment on matters involving protective intelligence.”

The Secret Service said in a statement it “investigates all threats related to our protectees.”

As expected, the liberal media also piled on Musk for his post.

Wired called the Space X CEO’s posts “could be interpreted as a call to murder President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris,” and even went as far as to brand him a “national security risk.”

Meanwhile, on MSNBC, Silicon Valley investor Roger McNamee called for Musk to face criminal charges.

“You have somebody who runs a really strategic defense and aerospace projects for the federal government who’s actively undermining the government that’s paying him,” McNamee said.

“And somewhere in that is a legal case that needs to be prosecuted.”

Hasn’t the Secret Service got better things to do other than investigating a billionaire?

Perhaps they should start investigating themselves for security incidents that led to former President Donald Trump’s almost assassination.
