I wonder how long for this world Routh is…?
What did they shoot with? SMGs? 9 mm? 10mm. 3-500 yards? Suppression fire, likely.
Really not that complicated: Trump’s campaign schedule is very public. If there are no scheduled events, then there is a really good chance that he will be playing golf at his course in Palm Beach or near his home in Bedminster, NJ. A would be assassin would only need to stake out the entrance to the golf course for a few days, and when the Trump motorcade arrives, move to the assassin’s nest and wait.
Every mafia “torpedo” knows how to do this.

I wonder how long was spent planning this so that he was there, with a weapon, had a place staked out by the course to hide at, and how many hours/days were spent waiting there until opportunity presented?
And how does one live in Hawaii by making affordable housing for the homeless and poor? Isn’t Hawaii notoriously expensive to live in? Was this guy independently wealthy? How?
Based on the excellent analysis by Jeff, the perp almost certainly parked in the post office parking lot to the south of Summit road. There has got to be video of the perp entering and egressing the parking lot in the black Xterra. This will indicate when the perp arrived.
Officials are saying he was shooting from 3-500 yards. He was using either an SKS or an AK-47 variant. Neither are very accurate rifles. Even a 300 yard shot with one of these rifles, and a decent optic, would take a trained, practiced shooter. This guy was a felon who lived in Hawaii. Granted, felons can get ahold of rifles but where would a felon in anti-gun Hawaii go to practice long distance shooting? Even good shooters need to practice to maintain their marksmanship.
Absolutely. Certainly not an AK or SKS. An AR-10 could do it but only in the hands of a skilled shooter. But, as a felon that may have been the only rifle he could get his hands on.
There are 100 rifles that are better for sniping than an AR or AK variant. Even an old WWII Mauser Karabiner 98k rifle is better.
So why the piece of hsit AK, except that it had an obliterated serial number?
I’m having trouble finding the link again, but somebody earlier posted a link to a guy who says his sources say that Homeland Security leaked the info to the FBI and the FBI pulled in the assassin.
With Florida investigating, there is a chance that this could be corroborated, if true. The FBI should not be allowed anywhere near any of the evidence.
The would-be shooter looks to be a Deep State asset.
No doubt. I can only figure he was hoping to get a closer shot but was spotted before Trump got close enough.
Did Senator Lindsey announce Trump’s location on a live newscast? Also, Lindsey is a strong advocated for Ukraine and other Deep State activities.

According to the Jones video, it was after Fox New Sunday show that Lindsey Graham was talking about Trump playing golf. That would have put Graham’s conversaton at mid-morning or later.
According to news reports Routh had been at the golf course for 12 hours, say since 2-3 AM Sunday morning. What has not yet been (or may never be) released is the time when Trump decided and told his USSS team that he would be playing golf Sunday afternoon, as well as an accurate timeline on Routh’s whereabouts and comunications on Saturday and the early Sunday morning hours.
