Melania wants to know why why the security team did not arrest the young would-be assassin before he fired off several shots at her husband!Not only should they have arrested him before he got on the roof, they should have shot him. They watched for several minutes Crooks setting up and taking aim at Trump. Only after shots were fired did the SS immediatly return fire.

Wherever you fall on the attempted assassination of President Trump, this evidence does not look good at all.

The local police took a picture of the kid using a range finder to find the distance form his shooting position to the lectern just 10 minutes before Trump took the stage and sent it to the head of the SS detail. Who did nothing.

She should demand answers. Someone tried to kill her husband, killed an innocent bystander and wounded several others.
She has given the authorities some time and space to investigate. But no serious answers are forthcoming.
As we head towards Election Day I expect she will get more and more vocal about it. This attempted assassination should not get flushed down the memory hole. It needs to be part of the conversation. Smart tactics.

Answer- The project would have been aborted before it accomplished its goal. Arresting the perp pre action might well have gotten the arrester charged with hindering an official action.
