I thought he was SO handsome in Gidget. Had a big crush on him, and a good singer, too.
Darren’s Deep Space Nine role was a gem. Like some of the best science fiction, it was an absurd premise well-executed as entertainment.
‘The way you look tonight’ from the last episode of DS9 was well done.
RIP Vic Fontaine.
Moondoggie…RIP
Moondoggie and Vic Fontaine, who lent a little musicality to Gidget and to DS9. What a blast to hear great crooner songs in a futuristic setting!
May God bless all who are grieving for loved ones.
Rest In Peace, James.

Moondog. Ugh. Dreamy.
Oh, him! I didn’t know that was his name. I also thought he was a co star on Lost in Space. Now I recall seeing him. When young, he looked a lot like Frankie Avalon.
I suspect that was his Hollywood name. He looked Italian.
Time Tunnel
Too soon!!
RIP James.
We'll have the capability to create, at least visually and audibly, a holographic "Vic Fontaine" that can think on his own pretty soon now. Physical reality (being able to touch or be touched by "Vic"), or have him materialize or dematerialize right in front of you, yeah, that's further off...
Well, age 88, a very productive, active life, and dying peacefully in your sleep isn’t a bad run...!
RIP, “Vic”!
Yes! Great Show.
